vaping spice in apartment complex

Hey folks,

SWIM has some MHRB and materials on order and will (hopefully) have a batch of spice extracted within the next week or so. He lives in an apartment complex on the second floor (out of three) where he can frequently smell his neighbor's cigarette smoking. However sounds rarely penetrate.

SWIM is worried that any passerby's in the hallway or neighbors might pick up the smell of vaped spice some day and think that he is a meth/crackhead because of the notorious, plastic-burning type of smell DMT produces (apparently).

This is not something SWIM wants to have to worry about/deal with while preparing to launch or while under the influence. Luckily SWIM is willing to take preparative measures and his fiancee can assist in the physical domain as a sitter.

What do you recommend to address the issue of the smell? Towel under door + febreeze and an open window?

My best advice for the smell is to get all the hit and not let go before it has fully cooled inside you. If I have a big hit usually afterwards I'll go to the bathroom leaving all doors closed behind me and when I get back to my room there's no smell off spice to be found. But that's mainly down to my conservative smoking technique

Just leave a window open and down set it on fire.

when people smoked cigarettes they usually take a series of multiple puffs. cigs smell like shit and the smoke tends to linger. i wouldn't use your neighbors smoking as a gauge. when smoking spice you only need to hit it 3 times total. spice doesn't stink as strong or as long as any other smoke, its not as thick. its an unusual smell, but i wouldn't worry. i live in an apt complex and that thought has never crossed my mind. like the person above me suggested, you usually want to hold your hit in as long as you can. ghost it if possible, but i doubt you'll be able to.

Hello,

Living in a similar situation, I am currently using changa. Regardless of my form of smokeable DMT, I always try (and do not always succeed LOL) to hold the vapor in long enough such that my exhale is clear - 10-20 seconds. I also frequently burn incense before, during and after my spice sessions.

I would not worry about the smell, but the noise in your apartment complex.

Yea, some nice sandlewood incense will mask the smell very effectively, it's amazing it'll even overpower certain less pungent strains of cannabis in bloom.

Aye me and friends of mines would always start making a lot of noise after our experiences, along the lines of bloody hell :shock: :d , then realise it was quite late and wed been shouting about the amazingness of everything a bit too loudly! lol

EDIT: misunderstood your reply there, oh well lol Yes noise can be very annoying, im not at my flat just now but when I was it could be distracting, not much with smoked spice as everything kinda dissapeared but moreso with aya. I had a horrible experience one night on aya, i drank it then my neighbour started havinbg a party upstairs an hour after drinking it, I was convinced they were intentionally doing it to ruin my experience, really peed me off
