Very quick question

Hi all, my latest extraction was very dirty so I put a little naphtha in a glass and dumped my dirty DMT in it and then put the glass in a pot with water on the stove top. Now I have my glass and the naphtha has gone from clear to an amber gold/brown color and there is dark crap on the bottom. Is this stuff on the bottom DMT or is it just all the crap?

Clarification on the color. When looking top down at the glass the naphtha looks just yellowish. When looking from the side it looks similar to amber. And when looking bottom up it looks yellow.

EDIT: Looking closer at the crap, there is the dark brown looking stuff and there is also some lighter orange-ish stuff.

That brown stuff is mostly crap but there probably is a small amount of DMT in there, the vast majority of the DMT will have dissolved into your naphtha. Pour that naphtha out and keep it in one container, then add different, clean naphtha to your glass of brown and orange crap. Heat up the naphtha in your glass using your hot-water-bath style method. Now pour out this naphtha into the container you put your first amount of naphtha in. Discard anything that did not dissolve in the naphtha.

You should evap that naphtha until it can fit in a few shot glasses and throw it in the freezer over night
In the morning you will have white snowglobes sticking to the glass and just poor the naphtha out and set the shot glass infront of a fan for an hour and scrape and have fun!

if its still yellow colour spice then try re-exing again but keeping the naptha cooler you should end up with a oil yellow/orange globe on the bottom which can be seperated(dont throw it away though) you then freeze precip the clearer naphtha and you should get whiter colour crystals, i find that when the solvent turns yellow during a re-ex the resulting crystals will still be yellow and it takes a cooler re-ex to only dissolve the dmt and not so much yellow stuff. its up to you though how you do it some people prefer the yellow stuff i find it tends to have more of a body feel, and the whiter is a cleaner more heady trip.
you can use the globe you seperated and re-ex it again to ensure theres no more dmt left in it, it will usually start to crystalise or solidify a bit if theres any dmt left in the funky goo.
the left over stuff you got in that picture i would just throw away or do one last re-ex after, it looks mostly like bits of plant material and not really worth saving but still do until you can be sure theres nothing left in it. i can easily tell if theres dmt left in there. just by looking at or smelling it.
