gammagore, the colleague received a response from VG: "we will replace the broken top". No further questions. But I asked him to try to get a recomendation about the maximum heat supported by the Top and possible problems related to the intensity of the flame.
 
I got my brand new GVG saturday morning! It shipped on thursday, I ordered on wednesday. Thats 24 hrs from order to ship and 2 days from ship to my door! EXCELLENT! I have only used it twice now on low doses ~20mg. This, however, was scary-efficient. OEV and CEV galore! IM almost wary to load up a full 50mg. I will in time tho. This is way better than my bongslide-crackpipe I have been using for a year. I found it quite reliable but I think I found my new best friend.

Hello gammagore, a final and good update!

My buddy received a new Top! It was shipped two days after he send his first email to VG, even before he start complaining about the lack of communication. VG guys waste no time!

I received mine GVG too! Oh man, I'm preparing myself to give it a try this night. Candlelights (romantic and sweet, heh), comfortable cushions to lie, sublingual Caapi Copy to help slow down, meditation, a sandwich of wild letus to calm down and relax and... hyperspace!

If your using a butane/jet lighter, remember to point the flame straight down onto the ceramic diffuser. If you point at an angle, you’ll be heating the glass instead of the diffuser.

Is one of the best purchases i've ever made! Thank you whoever the first person was to buy one and reccomend it. My first hit the smoke was so nice i didn't even think i took any but BOY i did!
 
Mine is currently at customs and when I saw this thread title, all I though about was "Fuck man, what if he's going to write that GVG sucks and so that would mean that you blew 130 € for something wacky".

I already have a wooden vapor genie, would it be worth me buying the glass one to use for DMT enhanced leaf?

I used to use my wooden vapor genie for herb but eventually i got fed up & bought a magic flight box, as when you take a toke on the wooden VG you can't see the vapor, so i usually ended up getting nothing, or too much and coughing up a lung. It also burnt the herb very unevenly...

Is the GVG much easier to use as its glass so you can see the vapor forming etc..?

Its either buy a GVG or buy a new chamber & bag fittings for the volcano i think
 
I think you should get a torch lighter and learn how to vap it better. The glass genie does seem to be somehow effective than the normal one, also with the advantage of seeing the vapor, but if you get your technique down the wooden genie should be amazingly efficient already. I think the key is to get a torch lighter and to keep the flame farther away, and take long slow hits. Dont get impatient and put the flame too close just because you dont feel the vapor in the first second... Slow long deep puffs and you'll get it :)
 
Thanks, last night i just melted my 20-30mg dose into some pre-vaped cannabis in a normal glass pipe, i just heated it slow at first, then as it started to kick in i burnt the lot of it :)

Even though it was only 20-30mg it still took me to the heights of a 60mg dose, just this time i could stay conscious of what was going on & remember more afterwards, it seems melting the dmt into some herb & just smoking the herb is good enough, although i do still love the idea of a GVG for sure and think that vaporizing would be easier on the lungs.
 
Has anyone used the Volcano? I have one and it works well but I want to hear from someone who has used both. If the GVG works better I will buy one.

Has anyone used a GVG or VG regularly for vaporizing weed?

I like joints but if a VG is really that good, it might allow a person to avoid using tobacco completely. I tried with a regular pipe but straight weed in a pipe hurts.
