Virola Calophylla Resin Usage (A resin high in DMT)

Swim has a mouthful of 500mg resin, 30mg ch, and alot of saliva.... next time swim will put it in a tea bag or something. been about 10 minutes and swim feels nothing. another 10 mins and swim will swallow.....

Swim thinks its about 30 mins in and feels alittle something, it might be in swims own head though,.... nothing to report

Sublingual use is tricky. If not done right it won't work well. You need to sort of suck on it slowly while under the tongue or in the cheat. You need to prevent saliva from building up in your mouth. If saliva builds up, it will not work well at all.

I never heard of it causing effects like that. That sucks. SWIM uses it maybe once a week and never had any negative effects before. For SWIM it's like a short mushroom trip.

Resin on the way! Reports to follow. Has anyone tried with THH yet? SWIM just had his first bit of THH and spice today..... so very nice! He hopes this resin with lime and THH will be a nice smokeless option for DMT use.

My gerbil put 500mg of resin along with calcium hydroxide under the tongue after 20 mg THH (sublingual as well) he felt a mild but really nice trippyness for a couple hours. It never got too great but certainly active. The underside of tongue burned like a mofo though while it was there. No lesions but he was worried while it cooked away.

this resin just popped up in SWIMS mind and he remembered that he had some...he may try using some of this stuff with maois...maybe 100-150mg thh orally and then maybe 30-40 minutes later take 500mg sublingually

I was mixing calcium hydroxide and resin together and completely boned... I added 600mg of ch instead of 60mg. I know that is such a moron move...but at least it wasn't 600mg of DMT by mistake.

I added water and made a pellet but it is huge and I imagine it would burn the hell out of my mouth.

Is there anything I can do to salvage this? I have been increasing dosage of the resin over the past few months and this was to be my first real decent sized dose.

I'm pretty disappointed in myself for the waste... any ideas?

What a mistake to make. That’s way too much calcium hydroxide for your mouth. Don’t even try using it. That’s going to burn like crazy and leave lesions in your mouth which will last several days. Plus, it’s too dilute to work well.

There’s no way to get the resin back out of the mix. I think the best thing to do is to dilute it with more resin, until you get to a comfortable dilution (like around 6-10% calcium hydroxide). You can use it as your calcium hydroxide mix for new resin. The only other thing this might be good for is extraction.


When SWIM uses Virola callophyla resin, he only adds 60 mg of calcium hydroxide per gram of resin. That’s 6%. He found more than this wasn’t anymore effective, but less and the resin didn’t work well at all.

SWIM likes the 1-2 gram dosage range the most. At 2 grams sublingually, it’s quite an experience. This is definitely SWIM’s favorite way to use DMT. The trip is much smoother, longer lasting, more pleasant, and with less “mind fuck” compared to smoking it.


I’m curious why it doesn’t burn like crazy. Freebase DMT taken sublingually burns you really badly. Does anyone have any idea why the resin doesn’t burn you like freebase DMT does?

Thanks ron. I ordered some more resin. I had built up to a 1 gram dosage and was going for a 1.5 when I screwed it up. I have also been working on my sublingual technique, trying to keep the saliva level down.

I also have been wondering about why the resin doesn't burn like freebase DMT. Is it possible that something in the resin is numbing? THH sort of numbs my mouth when I put it under my tongue. But, THH and DMT sublingual still burns like the dickens.

I would like to find a way to use my extracted spice sublingually like the resin.

If it was possible to use pure DMT sublingually without the burn, that would be fantastic. You could get a much larger dose that way. But like you said, even with THH, it burns like hell. Even a small almost imperceptible dose burns like hell.

It’s puzzling to me that the resin doesn’t burn like that. The effect is obviously from DMT. Adding the lime freebases the DMT, making it effective, but it still doesn’t burn much. The very slight burn from adding the lime is nothing close to the burn you get from DMT. Sublingual DMT causes serious pain. Maybe Kava might control the pain?

What is the DMT freebase pain from? Is freebase DMT burning the skin and causing damage?

How come i hear so much negative stories about virola? Is there a vendor that sells stuff of a constant quality? It seems that most of the virola that's being sold is total bunk, if you listen to all the stories. I even saw extremely negative stories on the website of a vendor (azarius) of the stuff itself!

If used improperly, they don't work well at all. For Virola calophylla you have to prepare it properly with calcium hydroxide or its ineffective.

Polytrip, just to be clear on my end... my negative story is because I mis-measured my calcium hydroxide. I was distracted and added 600mg instead of 60mg.... bonehead move!!! At least I didn't put it in my mouth So far, the test-drives I was taking with the resin were very nice. I just wanted to step it up really slow to make sure... this was going to be my highest dose. But my lower doses were certainly active. I was really looking forward to this trip. Too bad I goofed!

I get mine from FV, they must be selling it fairly well...because it goes in and out of being backordered.

Finally I was able to try Virola callophyla resin from FV. 1gr of resin mixed grounded with 55mg calcium hydroxide. 30 minutes before 234mg of CaapiCopy swallowed along with 4 grounded Datura stramonium. Rinsed few times with alcohol and left resin mixture under tongue for 10 min or so to burn and then swallowed. The only definite effect is indeed burning from calcium hydroxide. Not even a hint of this stuff being active at that dose. Strange.
Will try to double resin dosage w/out harmalas next time. My measurements are quite precise and I am familiar with sublingual technique. What else is wrong or missing or I am just so hardheaded? Will be happy to hear any comments:roll:

My earlier experiments never gave a truly trippy experience.. however, it was certainly active. The most noticeable effects were felt at 750 mg with 40mg ch I had swirly visual effects happening on my wood floors. I prepared it by blending the resin and ch with just enough water to make it wet to the touch. I could feel the heat from the ch reacting with the water. I let it dry while I was working. The little pellet that formed was placed under the tongue for probably 15 or 20 minutes. I did my best to keep my mouth at a low level of saliva. Seemed like a losing battle. quickly the pellet had more or less dissolved so I just held it there as long as I could stand and swallowed it with a few washes of water.


I was about to try for 1 gram the other day....but you can read what happened above.... I have 2 grams coming from FV now. I really hope that it serves me better than what you got from them. I will certainly report.
