Ok, so my dog is a bit of a space cadet, having ingested a multitude of substances over many years, including dozens of experiences with DMT and Ayahuasca.
Yesterday afternoon between 3-4pm he ingested around 150mg of Freebase DMT, along with Moclobemide as an activator, in hopes of achieving a Pharmahuasca-like experience. Minimal to no hallucinations during experience, just an overall peaceful feeling. This came to an abrupt halt somewhere between 8-9pm, when he all of a sudden felt very light headed, like as though he had very low blood pressure. Not long after this he was feeling very full - odd, as he had been fasting that day in preparation for the ceremony. This full feeling led to him soon making the mad dash to the toilet and to his horror found himself spewing up a full stomach load of fresh, bright red, undiluted blood! A very light head was experienced and he knew he was going to pass out very soon, so he attempted to return to the couch in the living room (in the next room). He fainted on the way there, however upon waking he realized he had been heading in the opposite direction to the couch! He laid on the floor for a while in an attempt to regain composure, after which he literally crawled to the couch where he lay for the rest of the night, unable to sleep. There is more to the story, however they are mere details of delusional behaviour.
My question is this: What would have made him vomit up so much blood and why was he so delusional? If he only vomited the once and has since regained composure, is there anything medical to worry about?
Note: at no time during or after was there pain in his stomach...
