WARNING to europeans: Methamphetamine sold as MDMA!

..i quit all amphetamines at 20 to focus on entheogens (after dry reaching in a bath for 4 hours till the bile came up on supposed MDMA)..
..i recall a commissioned test survey by the U.K. MixMag about 10 years ago which found that only something like 10% of surveyed pills were close to
pure MDMA, and a shocking percentage had no MDMA at all, but all sorts of other substances..
..i don't think amphetamine manufacturers have shown themselves to be particularly concerned with quality control...

MDMA is still quite big here after the recent drought, but for many years there has been an acceptance that UK pills rarely contain MDMA at all. As a result (i think anyway) they are called “pills” nowadays than “E” like they used to be.

60% of the pills analyzed didnt contain any mdma. Out of those, the most common substance found has been MCPP (30% of the pills), sometimes combined with metoclopramide (which is added to diminish nausea from MCPP but in actual fact increases the nausea and side effects). Also appart from MCPP there is a significant amount of pills with other piperazines such as BZP, and also some containing PMMA, which has been linked to many deaths around europe.

MDMA in crystal form has usually been significantly more pure, 68% of the samples analyzed only contained mdma as active substance, and the rest has been a mix of MDMA + inert filler and/or some active cut (such as MCPP, caffeine, even DXM, etc). These are data for 2010 analysis, now we are seeing more of this methamphetamine sold as MDMA too

I'm curious to know what might cause the following result with Marquis testing.

There are only maybe 10-15 tests left in the bottle. a few grains of powder are deposited on a white plate. marquis is added. VERY WEAK reaction .. almost nothing maybe a slight brown tint, but nothing like what happens when I crush up Rx amphetamine and test that just for information sake.

So I got one of my very pure MDA capsules which I know has reacted purple before to see if something is wrong with the marquis. Same amount of powder. Result is a strong purple almost immediately. OKAY.

So I scrape up about 10x the amount of a couple grains (which has always been sufficient for a marquis test) of the un-reacting powder. Probably 5mg. Add marquis. Starts off slow but this time the reaction turns purple just like the known-to-be-good stuff.

All powders were kept separate. All drops of marquis were kept apart and compared together under good light.

My guess is that the new MDMA is just not nearly as pure as the MDA which I've tested to be extremely strong at 100mg. And also not as pure as the powders which have been positively tested purple in the past. Maybe with the small amount of powder it was mostly inert filler or something? and a hefty sample contained basically 51%+ MDxx?

Bad x pills is really nothing new...

Actually i don´t know anyone who would buy any random pill and just eat it without knowing anything about that batch.

The thing in my country is that the rave scene is preety small and most people know each other so anyone who sells x at parties knows that if they sell shit people will react at that.


That said there is still alot of shit floating around on the streets and it sucks it has to be that way, but ifyou make some effort looking up the pills you are getting it is not hard to know what to buy and not.
