Hello. I've heard that there are two ways to clean Dmt crystals: recrystallisation and another method. These are acetone cleaning and sodium carbonate cleaning.
I've looked up the methods for acetone cleaning and sodium carbonate cleaning on Nexus, but I can't find them. Could someone please tell me?

Acetone will dissolve freebase DMT. Whether the impurities stay behind depends on what they are. What impurities would you be expecting from the process that you've been using?

I use the STB method to extract DMT. The material is Acacia confusa. The possible impurity is the plastic lid attached to the glass container.
I want to make pure DMT crystals as much as possible. I am looking for a way to remove impurities other than recrystallisation.

With plastic contamination, you'd be best off performing a mini A/B.

Chromatography would be another answer, but if you were set up to be able to do that, you probably wouldn't be asking this question.
