weak dmt?

so this dmt is from acacia confusa stb 1000grams with lye and naptha but no matter how much i smoke i get nothing but minor tracers and a little body load am i doing something wrong? ive tried putting as much as 200 mg on top of a bowl of weed with ash on top never hits dmt. ive also tried just dmt in waterbong with no effect and also a little chillum just for my dmt and i get nothing. my dmt crystals are yellow/orange and fluffy. what did i do wrong? ive got like 5grams of inactive shit.

Can you explain your extraction process in a bit more detail?

You used 1000g of ACRB and yielded 5g? Can you post pics?

50mg should be a strong breakthrough dose. 200mg and you should be off in another world.

i actually got about 9 grams out of 1000grams, but the other 4 grams is somewhat active, i can get good cev, and it seems like my surroundings change in apperance a little. the extraction was broken down into various experiments, 5 100grams and one 500grams each with equal amounts of lye and the acrb is powdered. basically i put powder into a glass jar, add pre-mixed water/lye wait add 150ml naptha, shake and let separate 6-7 times then decant naptha with a pipet into a glass jar and put into freezer for a few days till naptha clears up then scrape up goo/crystals and try to smoke lol. i have only had one experience with dmt and that was last summer at a festival at a campsite and i got great visuals not a breakthrough from what ive read though.

I have extracted from ACRB and taken 10-20mg and had it be VERY strong. Just putting that in there.

I have extracted from ACRB and have results all over the shops...some times 35mg would be nuts strong, and other times 80mg would give me mild tryptamine effects.
ACRB is so variable in my opinion (or at least what is sold by many vendors as ACRB)

i have received varying results as well. most batches of acacia have yielded very strong but mixed alkaloid profiles(not just dmt). But one batch gave me the biggest, fluffiest super white crystals i've ever gotten. at 30 mg in perfected vaporizer gvg i got no results. i had to bump all the way up to 100 mg. to get sub effects. Normally with a nice copper scrubber in my gvg i can blast off with 20 mg. I have no idea what this stuff is, smells like faintly like dmt but does not deliver. i have a few grams of it.

ive tried enhanced leaf and i still get the same effects as described above, but i went out and bought a new pipe, i think that was part of the problemm, no more choreboy for me :thumb_up: I was able to achieve the "tryptamine gigles" last night it was great, unfortuanatly still no visuals though. my crystals from my other new batch of acrb from a different vendor is now ready so i will be testing them tonight, i think the dmt is active but weak.

You may want to consider you have a ton of base in there. I don't know this but have seen it before. Do an IPA wash on what you have unless its all infused already. Let me know and if not Ill walk you through it.

Second thing- you need to scrub that pipe like new if you ever gonna tell if your dmt is melting through which is 90% the case in problems of not blasting off.

Clean that thing sparkly new and do a proper sandwich method. Click on my sig for details if not familiar. You better have some thing in there if not a scrubber to catch the dmt.

if i had any base in it wouldnt it be black? i will try an ipa wash though and see if that helps, my 2nd batch from another vendor turned out to be the same as the first batch, nothing but a mild tryptamine buzz. these crystals came out pure white, but nothing but a buzz. i just went out and bought a vapor genie, i already had the glass one but doesnt work well for me, this new vapor genie smokes nicely but little effects.

i just bought some damnia leaf from the place i bought my vapor genie so i am making enhanced leaf now and waiting for it to dry.

do i need a scrubber in the vapor genie or can i just use ash? i just put 100mg in it with ash on bottom and ash on top and smoked it all in 5 min. with nothing but a buzz.

i made enhanced leave using 400mg daimnia and 400mg dmt soaked in ipa and evaporated, final weight was 800mg. i smoked 800mg in a bowl and i finally started to get visuals even though they were minor, plus i got tracers. so it took 400mg dmt before i started to get noticable effects, so will purifing it further give me better results? when i dissolved it in ipa it all disolved and left no impurites or gunk.

You can't just sandwich dmt between ash...

You gotta put some herb in there, damania since you have it, with a screen at the bottom of the bowl. Then on top of the damania put your spice. Then cover that with some ashes then put more damania to top it all off.

A bong works good for me when I sandwich dmt. When you go to light it just give the herb on top a bit of flame, don't hold it there long or you'll keep destroying your spice. Just light the herb quickly so it cherries then from there just hit it slowly...

And if it doesn't work after doing a good sandwich... then either you really got to work on your lighting method or it is indeed weak.

NO! Never do that. The DMT is somewhere and as long as you save your solvents and materials you can always extract it.

No base wouldn't be black. You're better off writing your entire tek, amounts and procedures if you just repeated your extraction and got the same results. Id say your dmt looks dirty did you use heat? Often if you used too much heat you carmalize the sugars in the bark and get that dark brown that takes forever to re X over and over.

Relax mate, breathe, this is how things go for a while until you know what your doing.

90% of the time its smoking tek thats the cause so eliminate that problem then if your serious, sit down, write out in detail how you extarcted. Pics help a lot.

firstly, i want to thank everyone for there imput i really appreciate it. this is quite frustrating... here is my procedure step by step:
1st: i take 500 grams of acacia confusa root bark powder into a 1 gallon jug
2nd: I then add water till the gallon jug is 3/4 full and i slowly add 500 grams of lye, cap, and shake vigorisly for 30 seconds to a minute
3rd: then i add 200ml naptha and shake for a full minute.
4th: i wait till the solutions seperate then i shake again. I do this about 7-8 times.
5th: i then decant naptha into a 250ml glass beaker and i place in the freezer for 2 days. when i decant i usually end up leaving 50-100ml naptha in solution cause otherwise i end up pulling base mix.
6th: I repeat steps 3-5 a total of 5 times.
7th: after 2 days of being in freezer i decant the clear naptha and place jar upside down in freezer for a few hours to fully drain all naptha. then take out of freezer for crystals to dry then i smoke them or attempt to lol.

this whole process of extracting usually takes a few days so after the mix cools down from the lye reaction i place vessel in a slow cooker to heat up. I find that if i try to do my pulls when solution is cool then it takes forever for the naptha to seperate. so if i put it in slowcooker to heat up mix then it seperates quicker. i will leave it in water bath until i pull naptha out of base,

that is pretty much it. and the dmt is in its freebase form at this time. i dont really know how to turn it into a fumerate. I save and reuse all naptha, if its a new extration i will use fresh naptha and reuse.

i tried adding daimnia to the vapor genie as botanical bliss suggested but that didnt work either. lots of vapor but the only effects is an uncomfortable body buzz.

I fully understand your frustration, I just Goat fk'd a 250g bark extraction and it took me 2 weeks to un F it. So I'm with you and I've been extracting for a while now. It happens try to think of every mistake as a lesson learned. I am only as knowledgeable as my mistakes more so than my success's.

So your tek sounds fine although I will tell you I have never used acacia before. I would say possibly to thinks stood out.
First maybe allow your materials longer to basify before adding solvent. I find slow and steady wins the race and do everything in over night steps. Probably not always necessary but I get 1.7-2% yields so Im doing something right.

Next thing is loose the heat. Time trumps heat and heat is what I think could be giving you that dark brown spice. Its the sugars being burnt possibly. That's what happened to me, my crock pot went nuts over night and over heat and burned my bark during the acid bath.

Hopefully somebody smarter than I can help you out brother. After tonight I'm taking some time off the forums so I wont be around for a bit. Good luck, stay the coarse and dont throw anything out.

Its also could very well be just a low dmt containing material. I know acacia has other actives like NMT so maybe its just low on the Dmt.

ok olympus mon, thanks for the advice and i will use no more heat, and will keep trying. I just wanted to add one thing. i am an anti-social person and am very shy in person, i saw that there was a rave in my town tonight so i decided to go and while i was there enjoying the music this fine ass girl just walks up and sits down next to me and starts talking to me and she said she could hook me up, and tought me how to dance the way i see it is that the spirt molecule guided me to that place and literaly placed her right in my lap with no effort best night ever!!!

First of all, I have fairly limited experience with acacia confusa, but so far I have found that 50mg of the extract is not enough to break through and need closer to 80-100mg... I can't really recommend this as it could be seen as dangerous advice, but confusa extracts are often 50:50 nmt to dmt - so you may only be getting 25mg of dmt with a 50mg dose- and the other 25mg of nmt will not help break you through it will just add depth to the headspace.

..I have had similar experience with obtusifolia extracts for example too so I think depending on the method of extraction and solvent used the doseage may vary in relation to the presence and ratio of other alkaloids

it depends what tek your using too and whether you freeze precipitate or evaporate. i think some of the teks which achieve the fluffy white extracts via precipitation would be a much higher dmt ratio, whereas the evaporated extracts will be fairly equal with nmt. I evaporated mine as I am more interested in the full mix rather than only dmt.. I suspect evaporated extracts may require higher doses due to the higher ratio of nmt...

I am aware that nmt does precipitate too, but it takes a lot longer to crystalise - so its likely that the crystals themselves after initial freeze precip are mainly dmt and the nmt may be the gooey stuff underneath which will take longer to crystallize.. there are a few variables with acacia extracts which may effect doseage. 30-50mg doseage requirements may only apply to purer dmt extracts - and I suspect for possibly aesthetic reasons, that some people may be scraping the pretty crystals separate to the goo underneath them.

also, I am glad you had a good time, and I guess what you said was kinda borderline but I will just remind you that any talk of selling of buying dmt is not allowed here..
