What ammount of time/number of posts does one have to have to be able to post in all forum areas?

Migrated topic.
Guys, it took me over 60 posts and a month in chat to get noticed. That's been my lot in life. While I think I have a lot to contribute, it always takes a while for others to notice. So be patient and enjoy posting here and above all don't take it prsonally if you are not promoted quickly. you know the old saying:

A watched pot never boils and an anxious nursery member who asks whenwhenwhen (often boils) but never gets promoted.😉

I'm not sure who it is (Traveler?) that grants access to the rest of the forum. I remember a year ago when I joined I would browse through some of the other forums and want to post, then get irritated to find out I could only post in the nursery. I did my fair share of participating in the nursery, and eventually I felt like I could really contribute no more, as all my questions had been answered and I had done several extractions successfully, so I stopped posting. I still visited on occasion, and at some point I realized I was allowed to post anywhere, although I never received any kind of notification that I was promoted. So just be patient, and let the quality of your posts reflect your maturity. I actually think the way I discovered I could post anywhere was much better than if I had been somehow notified. If someone had said "oh here ya go, you now have free reign to post anywhere" I might have gone on a posting frenzy. Instead I just noticed as I was browsing threads that I could finally reply, but I was so used to not replying that I didn't feel any urge to reply unless I had something of real significance to post.
