What are the advantages of freeze precipitation?

I'm just wondering as it almost seems faster to me to full evap.

What are your opinions?

FP will give you fast clean(ish) small xtals (due to the speed of precip)

Air Evap will leave all the other impurities as well as the xtals.

And its a waste of solvent that can be re-used forever...
