What are you all doing with pure xtal?

This is a question for those who have extracted down to pure white salvinorin A crystal, or any other extraction that is so powerful it's measured in sub-milligram doses.
Are you actually dosing at such a tiny scale? Diluting it down somehow?

I've never used salvinorin crystal, but I read somewhere that they used to infuse tiny squares of paper with a solution, so you can measure it in a similar way to LSD.

So, you measure some amount of crystal, then dillute it in alcohol in a known proportion, so you know how much every drop has. Then infuse little pieces of paper (they used smoking paper) with a drop of alcohol and let it evaporate. Every little piece should have the same amount.

Interesting. It's typically either absorbed in the mouth or smoked, with a huge difference in potency. I imagine squares would require a pretty high dose of pure Salvinorin A.

You can also smoke the papers. That's why he used smoking papers. He was using tiny bits of paper, with tiny (but enough) bits of salvinorin

And are the crystals diluted in isopropyl alcohol or something else?

I believe the original author I read was using ethanol, but I guess isopropyl alcohol would work as well.

The idea is to use volumetric dosing, because this sub-miligram amount is impossible to measure precisely otherwise.

Yes; I really need a magnifier.
They usually take on a slight yellow hue if you don't do a lot of alcohol washes, though that also causes loss due to heat and reliance on precipitation (saturation is never perfect).
