Just been thinking about this a lot since my first two serious journeys:

What am I trying to get from this?
What am I wanting to learn?

so I send them to the community for some help.

Dreamer smoked DMT to cure his depression and inspire him. He found mimosa/rue too gruelling his second time so switched to vaping. He doesn't smoke it anymore because he was using it medicinally, and is now cured..

These days, he just drinks ayawaska once every few months and uses his DMT for boosters. This is for spiritual practice, and self-improvement.

I like this explanation:

Swims been the same recently, drinking aya then with the tiny bit of spice he found, unbeleivably, using it to booster the efects of the aya. Have you tried the changa yet ohayoco? going by what swims read it sounds I dunno easier to work with than pure spice, he plans to make some in the next month or so then start again with the spice.

Im the same as ohayoco, self improvement, spirituality, and to just SEE for myself!

SWIM has come to a similar point after about eight journeys with Spice...in fact during one very intense dream she was specifically asked by a goddess what she wanted - and failed to come up with a very good reply.

Although SWIM thought she knew what she was after when she went into the Realm, it turned out she didn't have a clue. Utter astonishment at meeting a goddess didn't really help :d

Since then she's been practicing daily meditation and working on the things in her life that need attention, whilst thinking about Spice a lot.

When she feels that she knows truly what her reasons are for venturing into the Realm, then she will go there again, but it feels too powerful and sacred for her to use it again for unclear (and possibly frivolous) reasons.

Having said this, SWIM has learned an immense amount in the Realms and feels truly blessed by this*:)

(*just for the record - SWIM is non-religious but feels some religious language is appropriate in discussing aspects of the Realms)

I think it's really important to try to figure what you want before you go In.

It's a very deliberate action, that takes a great deal of forethought and preparation. I don't think anyone here accidentally stumbles into this hyper-dimensional reality; it take quite a bit of effort and focused intent. So you must have some reason for doing it.

I like to know what that reason is; so I try to be honest with myself, and let the answer percolate into my conscious mind... even if I don't like the initial intent that I find, at least I know what the core motivation really is. Because no one else can tell me that.

Dreamer hasn't yet, he hasn't had time to work it out. And I read the Wiki site on changa and couldn't work it out from that either, I thought it was a sort of fumeahuasca but there's all sorts of different herbs listed. Non capisco :?

I have an open focus and intent. I accept everything that comes my way during the trip. Sometimes maybe it's ok to let the spice just show you things?

All you do im pretty sure is get the spice, dilute it in acetone then put in whatever smokable herbs you want in the acetone then let it evaporate, it would be much easier to smoke swims thinking and more convenient than spice, plus it would work well in joints for people who are fearful of the experience, swims thinking. 😉

I sojourn with the spice to gain insight into my "self" or what I consider to be the true fiber of my being, while simultaneously realizing the interconnectedness of the universe. this action of coarse is devoted to the good of all beings!

I was out yesterday doing my spice thing and having a bit of trouble connecting to that infinite place. I was testing a new batch and realized I had lost the "objective" I sat and pondered that concept for a few minutes reestablishing the objective. This time when i went in I hit the sweet spot and launched fully into the other side. It was beautiful and wonderous. Sometimes the objective doesn't have to be so large as to tear ones net as terrence so wonderfully put.

this really strikes home for me bro. I think I might just be losing sight of just how powerful this stuff really is.

Changa is nice, but that's not the questions I'm asking in my thread.

sorry for going off topic in your thread:oops:

I try to get a glimse into another world, somwhere away from day to day life, I also hope to find out wtf this stuff and hyperspace are all about.

What I have learnt is to be a better person towards myself and others.

eh, sorry for being so harsh...it was morning :p

But I like your answer! I've definitely been thinking a lot about the way things are connected. Like how everything happens for a reason and we just need to see the connections to understand the reason.

Deep stuff this spice unfolds...very curious.

You clearly have an awareness of the nature your intent, and you seem to hold it lightly - that's great. But sometimes I do have a question - which could be something like, who are you guys? what am I looking for and why am I doing this? How far does hyperspace go? Can I bring something workable back? That kind of thing...

I would often prefer NOT to have a question or desire, but if there's one in my noggin, buried back in there somewhere, I want to know what it is before I venture forth.

If I feel it's okay, I go in with the idea or question, and see if they respond; or if I can 'clear' it before I go inside, so I can go in defocussed, wide open, or just with a general sense of joy, love and wonder, marvellous.

i am trying to learn a set of skills with language , so i can heal people with just language alone without a need for any psychadelic , (some people can do this i met one of them in the middle of a jungle for 5 mins in my life and he healed me with a conversation for those 5 minutes , this was the most important 5 mins of my life , i had not smoked spice then however i have done now and that 5 minutes still remain the strongest impact on my life no psychadelic has ever come close to the conversation with that man , it was like a conversation with God , i could never find him again and believe me i tried because i wanted this skill in myself , the world would melt when he spoke it was that powerful )
and along with that i am trying to learn how to create hyperdiemensional reality in this reality on a given medium , painting hyperdiemension on a canvas this is what i mean
also all the other superpowers if there are any:d

When I first began my exploration, it was simple curiosity. It quickly became something more – a communion with “others”, including my own “source” or “higher self”.

I once had a very deep experience where it was revealed to me that there are important reasons why I make these journeys, but that these reasons are beyond my understanding. And these reasons come not from me, but from my “higher self”.

I believe that DMT experiences can help us to change in the same ways that other intense emotional/spiritual experiences can. I don’t believe that, as living human beings, we can ever fully bridge the gap between our physical world and the immaterial realm we visit.
