What happens with your behaviour in the real world during a DMT-trip?

Migrated topic.

People report that you get into some awesome place with fancy creatures... So I am wondering, what actually happens with your body in our dimension. Do you appear completely unconscious for a certain time?

Hello live,

I predict you are going to get pages of answers on this. I have read a variety of different accounts.

Speaking only for my personal experience: When I do not have a sitter, I am frequently convinced that my body is moving around, struggling for breath, and other minor concerns. Why do I say minor?

Because when I consume DMT (any range from 10-60 mg.) with a sitter, EACH and EVERY TIME, regardless of what I thought happened, I am told that I calmly lay there, breathing evenly, regularly and deeply, looking for all the world like I was sleeping peacefully.

Peace, Love & Welcome to the Nexus,
Pandora

If you saw me I'd be sitting half lotus, palms pressed, or mudras dancing through space. Eyes closed, looking up, and out. Sometimes harmonizing tones, or gasping in astonishment.

I've seen some folks smoke way too much and their body locks up and they breathe really strange. (Freaky)

Best to get a comfortable slow breathing rhythm going before you head out. This slows the heart, which lowers your brains operational frequency. Thus, making hyperspatial travel more comfortable and relaxed. Makes a huge difference!

People in hyperspace come back and look so beautiful, and can speak so clearly. There no filters between you and your communication. It's brilliant.

Knowledge and experience with meditation//yoga//entheogenic states are a good thing to have under your belt before exploring hyperspace, but if one does not have them, the neurotransmission will make sure that the traveler learns them ASAP 😉

I've heard of some folks here that royally freak out and yell their heads off...I've never seen anything like that personally.

As far as I can tell I remain still, but have never had a sitter so I guess I really don't know. The strangest thing to me is that inside my head, it seems that my breathing has ceased..which at first scared the bejesus outta me.Now, after 10-12 voyages I can tell myself that breathing and heartbeat mean nothing within the trip.

Speaking both as someone who has voyaged and someone who has initiated probably 25 people or so, the vast majority of people look like they're asleep. Eyes closed, deep heavy breathing, etc. I have seen people in difficult places try to stand up, or even sit up and open their eyes (they tend to look like fish out of water, no real sense of wats going on). I have witnessed one freakout that has been unmatched by anything i have seen or heard to this date. The guy took a massive rip and laid still for about two minutes. Next thing i know hes thrashing and screaming and convulsing to the point where he flailed outta my king size bed onto the floor and proceeded to wreck portions of my room. At 5'11' and 175 pounds, i'm not a little guy. I work out regularly and consider myself in good shape, but it was a struggle to keep him from hurting himself or completely wrecking my room. After 3 minutes of this he finally calmed down and then appeared as if sleeping. This was by far the longest i have ever seen anyone "gone" as he appeared to be unconscious for 18 minutes from the time he relaxed. I have never seen anyone come anywhere close, the closest was maybe 12 minutes of being "gone". That said, this was by far the biggest outlier i've personally encountered. The vast majority appear to be in deep deep sleep, and even he appeared to be once he settled down.

From my own personal experiance i have had my sitter monitor me to make sure im not doing anything to outrages.
My sitter has always told me that i dont move just settle and go into my deep trance.
Usually even if it a non breakthrough dose ill still relax close my eye and begin my meditation.
I suggest you follow the other users advice on control your breathing as this can be a issues for some people.

Apart from that happy hunting, best of luck and if you need anything else just ask

Take care
Hegs!

My sitter tells me on sub-breakthrough doses swim slides around and has a huge grin, he LOVES the slipperyness you get from tryptamines and sliding across something smooth when your body is vibrating with blue extacy is amazing.
