What is the easiest tek...

Migrated topic.
It's not the chemistry which generates problems.
You must have certain stuff which makes extraction easier.
I would recommand Jorkest-fumaric acid approach.

Just buy yourself a sep-funnel, some lye, fumaric acid, some limonene and sodium carbonate.

That's all you need.
Everything else is just a matter of clean and relaxed work!
Then your end-product will be awesome.

...for someone who failed out of chemistry in high school? Please help me out on this one, I'm so bad at science.

i think it depends on what suits you and your situation best. for me any tek that im using lye and other hazardous chemicals are a pain in the ass. no need to pull out gas masks just to make some spice.

i have always done the naptha/lime stb teks. even if my yield could be a little better with acids and lye's id rather not deal with those substances in my home kitchen if i dont have to.

although ive never done any other extractions i truly cant imagine anything simpler as q2121's stb tek. ive used more difficult cooking recipes. id say if you screw this tek up you shouldn't be allowed to make dinner let alone dmt, its that simple.

i agree with gamagore, read up on the teks and FAQ's. it will save you a lot of hassle time and money.

I don't mean to patronize, but since you speculating about lazyman's tek. Wear Goggles and protective gloves! Lye is extremely dangerous. It can blind and scar you for life. Better yet, speculate on the process of tek that doesn't use lye.

I have been using lye scine the 80's and I'm still kicking! I even use it to make ormus phillosiphers stone. Which I consume orally. And in my mescaline teks. Just do a wash after if your worried but yes gloves and goggles are a must!

I've never extracted, but I shall opine anyway. I'd be looking to the eco friendly teks.

I have zero experience--but since this is the nursery, maybe I can speak just a little out of turn without giving offense.

How about the Poor Mans Tek? Think about petro chemicals and what sort of karma they have attatched to them, the history they carry with them, the life forms currently in peril because of them. Do you want your spice to be tied up with any of that garbage? I'm rather befuddled at how quiet the eco friendly tek section is--are the yields really that much lower, or the proccess that much slower, or what? I'll say it thrice--I have no experience and hence have been rather reluctant to pipe up on this matter, but there is a pink elephant in the room and I've been itching to comment on it.

No offense is intended at all--in my life I frequently make usage of petro and related nonsense. I am in the proccess of learning to live better, I could spend hours listing the changes I've made in my life, to minimalise negative impact on this earth--and the list of things that I'm still working on would be just as long. I'm not preaching! Let's just try and do things the cool way, make conscious descisions and such-like.

Or tell me why I am wrong.

'Nuff said :)!
I would have to agree. Although I do also agree with minxx in that the food grade teks were generally pretty easy to execute.

And I didn't even take chemistry in high school, let alone fail it :D So I had no chemistry knowledge whatsoever, and have now taught myself a pretty decent amount of it from reading teks and threads here, and experimenting in my kitchen :)
