I was just wondering about what kind of bed to lay down my Spice on...

The forums say just plain herb is nice or mullein but what about salvia? I heard it would be good to try but I'm not sure if it would interfere with the spice experience.

Any suggestions?

I cant find the page where I read this but it it lists different herbs for use in changa and lists salvia as "if you dare!".

personally I find the salvia experience to very uncomfortable and frightening but thats just me :)

Ive done it with plain salvia leaf and it was awesome and I normally dont like salvia. I say try it and report back.

Mullein or mugwort is really good but I suggest you infuse swiy's dmt onto leaf and make "enhanced leaf" go to the changa section and learn how to do it. When its infused it much easier to smoke. Its almost impossible to burn it wrong and it can't melt away down your smoking device as easily. Also learn about caapi leaf and making changa wich in my opinion is the best way to go with dmt.

I recommend using extremely fine ground parsley Its very smooth smoke. SWIM usually loads a small powdered layer of parsley then his spice then another powdered layer of parsley with a couple of pipe screens at the bottom into The biggest bong he can find with a good amount of ice in the downstem.

For a while I was working with a bed of ash and a sprinkle of weed on top of the spice. Pot with spice is not to everyone’s taste but I quite like it. At the moment I am using ash - spice - ash again though.

OpenMinded1, hello there, and I'm so glad you decided to join our small community and journey into the unknown with us.

If it is normal freebase spice we are discussing, I suggest not putting any combination of herbs down for beginning experiences. What I believe the best solution to be is no extra herbs at all (At least for this situation).

Go to your local Headshop and purchase screens. They are very cheap, very effective, and come in bundles of around twenty. Place 2-3 screens into your bowl first, then the spice. Place a screen on top of your spice; now, if you wish to be extra careful and want the ability to evaporate your spice fully without burning it (Burning Spice causes a loss of Spice, and... Well, burns like hell), I recommend putting ash to top off the bed that has been made.

Top to bottom:
--Ash (From rolling paper)
--One Screen
--Spice
--Three Screens

It is much more easy to load and reload than the process to set it up in the beginning makes it out to be.

I read in this thread a mention of Cannabis to be used. Cannabis and Spice are a strange combination it seems. Like all things in life, it varies from person to person what the affect of Cannabis will have on your Hyperspace journey, so you must find out on your own what affect it has on you. For me, all visuals were cut out, and I was left with a very profound and over bearing physical effect. It was a little uncomfortable, it came on much more quickly, and the after glow, once it finally calmed down was brilliant.

I would very must suggest preforming your first journeys into hyperspace with solely freebase spice. It allows you to get a feel for this immense experience, and if you do the same with all other herbs, you may give yourself a personal guess from experience what the outcome of any combination of certain herbs will be.

Although I can agree that Changa is an entirely different, and beautiful world from freebase Spice, I still suggest you try solely freebase to start. This all assuming that you haven't started diving deep into the depths of hyperspace yet, so please forgive me if I assumed wrong.

Hope this helps.

You won't need luck in hyperspace, since it doesn't exist; you only need your sanity, and for that to remain strong, you must believe only in yourself.
