What music do you like to trip to?

I was wondering what kind of music your into. I was wondering this because when I'm on psilocybin or cannabis, I always take my mp3 player with me. Now tht it occurs to me, I think music with your trip is 100% more enjoyable, especially when you have someone to share it with. Thats why I always take my mp3 player with me where ever I go, because I never know when some cannabis is going to cross my path. When I'm trippin, I usually like to listen to something that has multiple meanings, and thats usually music from Syd Barrett, Early Pink Floyd Sound, Soft Machine, or Jefferson Airplane.

I like listening to ambient stuff and trancey tunes. Mainly chilled out stuff with no words and a happy uplifting vibe. Sphongle and even stuff like Massive Attack is also put in the mix.

I almost forgot to include The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators, they're pretty good. And Iron Butterfly is alright too.

While my trip wasn't complete I listened to 'Liquid Mind' of which I have some 3 hours of music and I found it very comforting during my sensation. It's synth-like music, no lyrics and just a nice wallpaper of sound to fill the room with a warm ambience.

HAve not yet done any psycadelics Listening to the Mars Volta though opens up some pretty amazing creative pathways in me. I get on these self induced "trips" of deep reflection and thought, its absolutely amazing.

[quote:8bd75849f0="Doerak"]Liquid Mind is "Musical Healthcare" as they claim, and I can fully understand why. Thanks, The Traveler![/quote:8bd75849f0] You're welcome, although I don't listen to it much anymore, guess I'm cured. :p In the meanwhile I'm completely sucked up by the music of Shpongle with songs called 'Divine Moments of Truth': "dee-em-tee, dee-em-tee, doo dee doo dee-em-tee, el-es-dee doo dee-em-tee, el-es-dee doo dee-em-tee...divine moments now, divine moments of truth, total and utter cosmic stuff..."

And their 'Gaagh' songs are kinda ambient/psychedelic/spacey: Syntro Gaagh Gaaghness Plasma Ambigaagh Moonbase69 Floating In Space

I once had a very memorable trip accompanied by Motorhead at a very high volume. Somthing I'm more than happy to attempt again. However I truly believe to experience the molecule in its most elemental form where its powers are at an optimum, you realy need to be in a very dark silent place, absolutly no external sensory imput whatsoever.

Not copyrighted, Every single piece of music here by the Bands, have been Authorized for the storage of their Live taped concerts and shows, all for the Public. You'll notice that it is all shows, not albums. All is taped and uploaded with permission of the Band. The LMA is the Bomb. where else can you stream or download your favorite sounds free?

Yes, I noticed that most of it are Live performances, so I figured it might have been authorized (after I posted my previous comment). It's great for non-mainstream artists like Zilla (I love 'em!).

*BUMP* I-Doser sounds very interesting. I've heard people tripping on this music without the use of medicinal herbs or ethnobotanicals. Pretty amazing, if true. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you guys know what I think of it :)
