What punishments are we looking at for Extracting DMT?

With our drug laws, it would seem that they would be putting a manufacture crime on this even though we aren't synthesizing.

What is the length of jail time we will do for extracting dmt? What about possession? I can't fin any links for this.

Depending on the solvents you use, if you're not carefull, you might set yourself on fire.

It all depends on your lawyer and the intent. If your selling your likely to get caught and they don't like that. DO NOT sell anything illegal ever, it is nothing but trouble. Personal use they don't like ti but they MAY be willing to plea bargin. It all depends every case is unique and different.

Well for example manufacturing meth has a very clear minimum sentence.

Posession/intent of 800 e pills is 4 years or 6 years.

2nd time possession of cocaine is 2 years in Cali.

Posession of marijuana in CAli is $100 ticket.

There are generally clear cut rules for every drug. I wonder what dmt is.

Crocodiles don't do these kind of things. It must have been alligators. Or caymans.

Thats because there are thousands of precidents set down for those drugs and arrests every year. dmt cases are very rare so no mandatory minumums or anything like that is around. plus its not really a threat to communities like meth would be.

Aye, that is to say that a home extractor who's tried can have a decent outcome, like having to pay a good fine and given a prior notice for the future, as long as

1) he's got a good lawer

2) he's got no previous criminal record and he's not some kind of shady character (i.e. he's got a job, a life, contributes to the community. recycles, helps the elderly etc)

3) no intention to supply can be imposed on him by the prosecutor. Not sure how this could work in real life, but if you're found possessing 10 or less grams of dmt at home can be deemed as "personal use stash". 10g of dmt on you when walking on the street can be more tricky and 100g of dmt + scales + ziplocks calls blatantly for "intention to supply".

Judges do not impose sentences according to the book. They are those who will decide the "best" punishment according to what the law says AND according to the specific situations under which the crime was commited. Otherwise there would be no trials; the policement would impose a sentence to arrested people just following a few simple guidelines.
