my vine is flowering..there are many flower buds on it now and 1 flower just bloomed yesterday. I think each bud only blooms for a day or 2, and I have always heard that the flowers are the most potent and pleasant..so should I just pick the flowers after they bloom for a day or so?..I brewed some leaf into the brew with rue and mimosa I have been drinking and i really like it, so wanted to try adding flowers as well..

I want to get seed from the vine if it will go to seed but I have heard that it is hard to get the vine to fruit without having another vine there to pollinate it. Im just wondering what you all do with the flowers..do you leave them or do you pick them?

..beautiful looking thanks jamie..
while some sources (more published) say the flowers have no alkaloids, others (more underground) report activity..for such a well known plant p. caerulea is surprisingly unstudied chemically..
many species' flowers are edible..
