Whats the best way to clean out a stubborn pipe?

Hi all,

Swim has a little glass vaporising pipe and the reason he doesn't use it so much anymore is because it is a real pain to clean.
Usually swim just fills it with NaOH and lets it to sit for an hour or so.

Sometimes a hot naptha wash helps too, but swim doesn't have any brush or pipecleaner which will fit inside. Packing it
with toilet roll doesn't really work and has on a number of occasions lead to near permament clogging.

Its a shame because swim loves the pipe.

Any ideas??

soaking in hot solvent should do the trick..

you can try rocksalt and iso i never have but iv heard that works

i always just soak in a solvent namely isopropyl but iv heard of people using naphtha

rubbing alcohol (IPA) or regular ethanol works great. a little table salt and scrubbing also helps.

Acetone and rock salt also works great.)

Just fill your bong up with Ethylacohol (desinfection alcohol) 80% pure or higher, and put enough salt in it, then tape the holes and shake that bong for a while, like 10 or 20 seconds, you'll see that all the brown tar is collected in the alcohol and can be poured away, resulting in a nice and shiny bong, it'll look like a new one.
