What's your favourite changa blend? (:

Migrated topic.

Been experimenting lately with my partner and having so much fun adding all our favourite local plants to our blends, we've been adding a passionflower, brugmansia, wildedagga(lions ear), jasmine, honeysuckle, mulberry leaves, Impepho and well others than grow around us that we feel a pull to.

Curious to hear of your favourite blends?

i have shifted from complex blends with 10 or 15 plants, to very simple blends, consisting of a caapi/mullein/d'arco-X base, then highlighting one other plant, variable depending on mood & season and availability. most things come from the garden outside when possible.

i have found that for me, complex blends become so muddy, i find it hard to notice and appreciate any of the individual components. then i began to develop anxiety about how all these plants interact with each other, and especially with harmalas.

so i shifted to simple blends. that way i can actually taste and feel the extra plant addition. it feels more respectful to the plant components, to give them each their own solo show on stage in the lime-light. i can experience each plant to a more full potential, and better understand how it effects the spice journey.

i feel like this mirrors more a traditional ayahuasca dieta path as well. dedicate to one plant at a time, learn its ways, then move on to another.

usually theres a few blends made ready, so i can still work with one for a bit, then switch it up and go somewhere else later and a different blend.

but i am still learning. maybe after i gain more experience with these simple individual blends, i will feel more confident mixing herbs together. definitely think theres an art to it all.

idk, it reminds me of smoking cannabis, if i smoke the same weed over and over, ill build a tolerance. if i get 10 diff kinds of weed, and put them all together, well im still going to build a tolerance, to all of them, and not really appreciate any individual flavor. but smoke a different type of weed each day, or one type in the morning and one type in the evening, then my tolerance doesnt build so fast, and i can appreciate each new flavor of weed. but thats just me. hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your post, really like it, like your outlook on the plants and your interactions with them, has actually sparked a level of experimentation in me to test out my interactions with individual plants more intimately with dmt, i am new to making changa blends and am so excited about adding all my favourite plants, i am a herbalist/amateur botanist and have quite a connection to the plants i use, but will reserve my excitement and appreciate each plant for what it has to offer :)

I use just Leonotis leonorus (Wild Dagga / Lion's Tail)

Wild dagga, literally grows like a "weed" on our farm, it is wonderful :)

My two favourite blends

Pau D'Arco 50%
Mugwort 30%
Mullein 20%
1:.5:1 DMT,Syrian Rue,Leaf
2 drops of coconut essential oil on the lid of the container.

5x Caapi Leaf 40%
Mullein 16%
Chaliponga 12%
Wild Dagga 8%
Passion Flower 8%
Salvia Divinorum plain leaf 8%
Caapi Vine 8%
1:1:1 DMT, Caapi harmalas, leaf
2 drops frankincense 2 drops myrrh 1 drop lemon on the lid of the container

i made a potent batch of 1g mullein 1g harmala 2g dmt dissolved in ethanol
it was by far the best functioning batch, grind the mullein carefully and smoke when cracker dry, with a deep cone rather than a wide one.

Best so far was blue lotus, passion flower, Calea ternifolia (dream herb) and 2 drops of 40x tincture caapi extract:want: exact % I dont know but it was 1:1

I had an Ayahuasca like experience everytime on that and the longest was 21 minutes realtime (2 tours hyperspace time)😁

300mg passion flower,300mg calendula,300mg blue lotus and 100mg blue lotus and calendula added after mix is dry, 1000mg spice and 300mg harmala freebase, a very very small amount of powdered Palo santo sprinkled onto to bowl before lighting- it's beautiful, just beautiful. Question, has anyone tried adding bobinsana to their changa blends?
