When to perform extraction, before or after new years?

My friend who doesn't know anything about computers or forums wants to do an extraction over his winter break. Preferably in time for new years, to ensure a NEW year . But he will only have between after christmas and new years if he were to do this. Is there an extraction method that can get this done with reasonable results in less than 5 days? Or should he do the regular two week extraction that he read about earlier, and just blast off after new years?

He still plans to do the side by side zinc experiment.

I did q21q21's tek for the first time a few days ago (with zippo, my limonene hasn't got here yet), after half a day I put the first three (more like two, spilled more than half of the first naphtha-pull on the floor) in the freezer. So your got plenty of time.

With q21q21 tek you could have a decent result (0.9-0.95%, 5 pulls) in 24 hours (but could be upto 72 hours depending how long you want to freeze precip for and perhaps a greater yield).

Then another 16-24 hours for a re-x if you wish to do so.

Any of the standard, modern teks should be doable at a nice relaxed rate in five days...seriously...you should be able to do any A/B (e.g. marsofold's), STB (e.g. noman's), or drytek (e.g. amor fati's; commonly mislabeled as q21q21 ) and have a completely finished/re-x'd product within five days.

Ive smoked my product the same day i started mixing once, a little harch but it worked fine.
