There are plenty of arguments for extracting over buying. The main ones being that you know what you are getting when you have extracted your own and If you can extract yourself you are empowering yourself. Discussion of sourcing is a big no no as it can get the admins into deep trouble.
DMT is a heavy duty experience and (mind) set and the physical space that you are in when consuming can play an important part in the experience and i believe that the act of extraction is an important part of organising the "set and setting". It's kinda like doing the work and getting your house in order before lifting off.
The act of autonomous extraction can make the difference between a brief dalliance in these realms or a long term relationship.
