i dont understand.

i have lots of information to give.

but im only allowed to post on dmt threads for whatever reason!

its quite annoying and is why i rarely use nexus.

now if this was little different i would have tons of information to give instead of just keeping it to myself due to me "not being able to post in this thread"

If you have lots of information to give, then post it! Don’t let your nursery status limit you. Many of the most interesting posts are located here in the nursery, and most members read and will respond to what you have to say here.

Go to it!
 
You only have 6 posts..every new member is in the nursery before they get promoted to full membership, simply becasue there are soooo many new people signing up all the time..just stick around and keep posting.

It's entirely fair guys, given the nature of the forum. And necessary. We all went through it, so stop whining.

What would be unfair would be to suddenly drop the rules and let all newcomers in, given that everyone else here has had to prove themselves and their good intentions.

So be patient. It's really not that limiting.

And telling us to fuck off, windsurfer, ain't a good start.

If one feels that they have anything to contribute or have any questions they should just post away, dont let the nursery hold you back.

Yes this forum is like no other, but dont look at it like beeing unfair, if one is genuine about there intention then they will get promoted.

Windsurfer, is that supposed to be a joke? if so, id have expected to see some sort of emoticon behind that. You may or may not have noticed that this kind of talk.... well it doesnt go down well. No need to be like that, we are all mature here and there are good replies to the OP, as I said, no need for that.

funkymonkey, start those new threads and give advise where you can, hoping to read more from you:)
 
No one here has any disrespect for the nursery, FM - except it seems those who are in it :)

There is no reason you can't post useful info here; I'm sure everyone would be interested in hearing what you have to share - I certainly would. The Nursery is a necessary filter, and a big part of the reason the nexus is what it is.

And respectfully - an aggressive post like this probably isn't the best way to go about things ...

ok look, dont take what windsurfer said and make it seem like i side with him. note he replied after me.

and i just posted this thread out of frustration, ive read threads many a time and had info to share but i was locked out. after a while i just got frustrated enough to post a thread.


and jbark, i was not whining, i find that kind of disrespectful. i was simply confused due to the fact i couldnt post in certain thread. im used to other forums where they let me post in whatever thread i feel like.


and one more thing this is directed towards ambi-lysergance, why would you insult me due to someone elses opinion? thats just ridiculous. i do understand my thread title should have been a little less blunt, but i did nothing to make you think that way about me personally.

people are so hostile on this forum. im here for the same reason the majority of you are. to learn and help others learn.

Windsurfer, if you dont have anything nice to say than, well..you know..Go for a walk or find your happy place before you post..go surf, god knows I just cant be angry at all after my daily session. Swearing at the nexus wont get you anywhere here, usually it wont get you too far anywhere. Kindness beats hate.
 
:? im not usually the one to insult, and I accept my previous post although made in comical jest could indeed be insulting for the record my comments although primarily aimed at windsurfer were based on your actual original post and the attitude derived from it. read it again and maybe you can forgive me from making an assumption about your age.

lets start again then. no offence intended. im sure you may have lots to share but be patient like others have. I understand your frustrations man but you see the nursery is a necessary evil and this you will appreiciate when you become a full member and share stuff with us as we share with you.

I accept you made your initial post out of frustration and fair enough we all get a little frustrated so all is well.
I look forward to hearing more influential and constructive input from you in the future man:d

i do understand the reason for the nursery, im sure i can provide some useful info for all of you to use!

funkymonky - sorry for the confusion. Nost of those words were for windsurfer - but you did remark that you thought it unfair, so my response to that comment is also to you.

But let's not make mountains of molehills. You're welcome here and those words were meant to be ones of encouragement. Just kinda react badly to being told to fuck off (not by you, to be clear:) )
