Hi all members,

Since today our WIKI is joining the forum and the chat in using SSL (HTTPS) to make sure you have a secure connection.

NOT WORKING FOR YOU YET?

It might be that this is not working correctly for you yet, this has to do with the updating of all the DNS servers around the world to go to the new IP-address that the WIKI uses.

So if you get an error while trying to load the WIKI then please have some patience. Within 24 hours this should be resolved worldwide.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Always an excellent feature to have; Also remember VPNs are helpful too. (Prevents snooping from your ISP and every node that relays your data)

I forgot to mention this before, but I have noticed that all https links inserted in to the WIKI have the padlock symbol. I have been entering them in as http to make it look 'cleaner', as all http traffic gets redirected to https anyway.

Hey Trav i just found out why chrome and firefox werent working. I turned off "scan SSL" in anti-virus (BitDefender) 'Privacy settings' and the homepage is loading. turn it back on, and it cycles 5(or so) times between "waiting for, looking for, connecting to" then it shows 'connection reset' page weather this is an issue with verification of the certificate or what i dont know

well i dont know what the issue is. all i know is if i didnt have antivirus it would work fine. first chrome was the only browser with this issue. now firefox too
Edit: just cause i can, ill link this here "DMT-Nexus Projects" - Suggestions - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus an idea i have for the wiki or as a new 'wiki' type module for the site
This is clearly an issue with Bitdefender and not something I can do much about.

When I check the internet I see a lot of issues with Bitdefender and their so called 'Scan SSL'. Maybe they use a list that takes time to update? For me the advice would be to turn off this feature since with this kind of false positives it makes that feature highly unreliable.

Kind regards,

it now works. someone gave me a link to the nexus's crt file and i did some updates. thanks trav.

I have no idea if this is related but all of a sudden I can't access the wiki. I get a http error when trying to access it from chrome.or Firefox on android. I'm going to try on my laptop and see what happens.
