Working with Ammonia

I'm doing an iboga extraction with ammonia 25w % in a well ventilated area.

I'm using chemical gloves and safety goggles, but I immediately noticed the pungent smell. I'm wondering how safe it is to use without a mask?

There are respirators available which give protection against ammonia (I was looking at a catalogue the other day, for no particular reason), you can surely search for that online as well.
