Would dunking a cake make LC?

Question: One dunks a cake in water with sugar for one day and shakes the jar a bit, then takes out the cake and puts it in a SGFC. One incubates the jar for two weeks. Wouldnt it become Liquid Culture?

No. When you make LC you need to PC the sugar/water before adding spores/myc to it. Dunking a cake will introduce WAY too many contaminants.
