Xanax w/ DMT

Strange... I took a 1mg Xanax a few hours ago and decided to smoke some DMT. Does Xanax negate the affect of DMT or alter the affects? I didnt get any visuals but I felt as though i was losing my mind? I guess i wont take Xanax and smoke DMT again.. Hahaha.. It wasnt scarey but i found myself thrashing around like a lunatic. Anytone else have a similar experience?

I once returned from hyperspace to the sound of someone pounding on my door asking if I was ok. My cat was standing on my chest I had fallen off the sofa I was reclining on and was on the floor about 10 feet away. Aparently I was rolling around making sounds like a wounded animal. I was not aware of any of this nor did I remember any of the 4min I was out. Reading reports it seems screaming or making hideous groaning sounds is something one can surely expect on occasion. Who knows how many times it may have happened to me when I was alone and never aware of it. No xanax however. It was a overdose a trip were I remember nothing I had just done what I expected would do it for me but no hyperspace so I quickly loaded up a large unknown amount. I killed it in 4 hits I did not remember anything but taking the last hit and laying down I had no memory of effects coming on. I had a hard time explaining that one to the person knocking om my door. Your experance sounds to me like it could have occured with dmt alone. What you describe sounds normal for dmt alone. You can never know what may happen so one must be ready as ready as possible at least that is. Nothing can fully prepair you for the big D.

The answer to your question is yes. I am not sure why but swim used to always use xanax when smoking the spice. It seems to ease the blastoff into something not as scary.His method was simple - snort 2 mg of xan.. 1 up each nostril .. as soon as he felt them coming on .. toke up the spice. After that ... if they were in the blood no need for more until the next day . It seemed to make the trip more "interactive." Swim thinks they act similar to an maoi here . Im not certain why this is but I think they go great together . The trips were altered yes but its hard to put into words how and why . They are most certainly extended in length . Swim wrote extensively about this on edot last year.

Hmm as far as the strange noises go ... Swim also makes a wide array of strange noises while in hyperspace. He used to use the sound recorder on his computer before smoking to document these episodes. There was definetly a rhthmycal almost mystical pattern to these noises . It wasnt noticeable at first but there was certainly more to it than met the ear . Swim could not help but think maybe these were some form of strange icaro trying to come through him. Swim lost all of these recordings when his comp crashed and has not recorded any since. He also used to moan on about "love" often while in space. Swim thinks everyone should document a few trips in this manner .... its very enlightening to see how one behaves and the sounds they make of which they are not aware . It could shed alot of light on the inner workings of the experience one is not aware of while in the "other." Peace!
 
swim takes xanax daily 2 mg+ and it has never effected swims spice journeys.As a matter of fact,spiceman might be right in saying that it MAY act as some sort of maoi because swim has a very low tolerance to the spice.

Swim will venture off into hyperspace,smoking half of what he's seen other's inhale and swims trips are alway's more intense, last longer and are alway's very visual.

I'm not an advocate of benzo's but i really dont think the lack of visuals or feelings of abnormal lunacy had anything to do w/ the xanax,based on swims experience but everyones different.
 
Anything that may calm down is welcome with DMT ;)
SWIM us to take a zolpidem before smoking and it always leads to awesome trips (very very visual, a bit longer). Of course the problem is to remember something 8)
Well, when the dose is strong enough it overwhelms the zolpidem anyway.
 
SWIM finds spice and zanny's to be a great combo...fucking realieves the damn nerves. Has had some crazy experiences with them so no does not effect it at all.
