Yellow dimitri after a re-ex but before was white curious to know why?

I did a STB extraction a few months ago, I used petroleum Ether 60-80 I left it out too long after water washing and pippetting into a glass dish so I decided do a re-ex a couple days ago. I did the re ex with fresh petroleum ether and dissolved the dimitri in solvent at around 50 celsius. I then poured into a dish with lid and had it sitting for a few hours in the kitchen then in the freezer for 48hrs.
Poured of the solvent to reuse then in front of the fan. When I scraped off to put into another dish I noticed that the crystals looked more dense and there's definitely a yellow tinge to it.
I have used the same solvent from this bottle a few times before and after extraction then water washing then freezing the dimitri has always been white.
Is there a reason why the dimitri would be more yellow after the re-ex i carried out? I always read that plant fats cause the yellowing but I have done a re-ex on on it and other extractions plus water washing have been white crystals.
It looks really good, larger denser crystals not so fluffy easier for my emesh just curious why yellow.

I've been searching for answers and sprinkled questions among different threads, gathering some theories. But I still haven't figured it out so I'm just going to start compiling my research here.

To summarize, I'm getting little prisms with nice morphology, but the color is yellow. Ever since the first pull on the bark the solvents have been yellow whenever the spice is dissolved. I really thought I escaped the color when converting to DMT-benzoate, because that salt was very white. But...

Lovely photos, next time I do an extraction and water wash I will allow half to cool down to room temperature and the other straight into the freezer too see if the one that cooled to room temperature then put into the freezer somehow turns yellow.
It's the only thing I can think off as never had yellow crystals before.
