Anyone have experience with yopo?
In any form, not just necessarily snuff. Even if you smoked it.
What's it like, and how longed it last via the way you took it, and how'd you prepare it?

Also, anyone know how the old tribes used to make the snuff? Since they didn't have lime or baking soda. I'd like to make it as natural as possible.

btw, anyone have any idea how long it takes for a yopo plant to mature and produce seeds?
I'm going to plant a plant with my seeds, and I think you all should do the same.

Well the strongest yopo was/is known to come from the piaroa tribe..and they base it with ashes from specific sacred trees, and they always add caapi to the snuff to potentiate it..the seeds are ground and mixed with the ash ans a bit of water to made a very very fine powder with a specific consistancy, then it is toasted over the fire..not sure when in the process the caapi powder is added..i think tobacco may be added at times but im not sure if they add it after or durring the actual yopo prep..

I never had anadenanthera perigrina, but i have triedplanting my anadenanthera columbrina seeds a few times..they always rotted a few days after germination though..im trying again with more humidity and less dirrect watering though..
