Okeydoke. Did a 100g extraction, this time A/B. No pictures sorry, wife was cooking, but here is the process:
STEPS:
0. Danced and sang til my throat was raw, played the New Starcraft2 beta, and smoked a couple of bowls.
1. Added mrhb to 2L glass jar.
2. Added ~500mL Vinegar to jar. closed jar airtight
3. Shaked, Rattled, and Rolled, till the jar was pinker than Tickle Me Pink
4. Let chill for 5 days, shakin everytime I thought about it (what a great idea).
during this time I did many things. Most of them were at home, which allowed me to shake the jar so much that I actually have a shoulder problem right now. TiP: do not shake the jar like you want to kill a baby. Shake it much more gentle.
5. Added 500mL water/lye solution to mix with 500mL water and roughly ~85g lye.
6. Agitated hard for 15 minutes, making sure to get all the mimosa that dried (or looked dried) around the jar.
7. Added ~80mL naptha, and rolled for 8 minutes. Set to separate (god it is SO easy to see in glass.)
8. Used turkey baster and grabbed naptha, came out nice and clear, added to jar, then decanted into martini glass.
8.5 set in freezer and went to eat food.
9. added ~100mL naptha, and rolled for 10 minutes. Set to separate.
10. Used turkey baster and grabbed naptha, came out nice and clear, added to jar, then decanted into a different martini glass.
10.5 added to freezer collection
11. Checked out martini glass, and it was already super cloudy, which I figured was a nice sign.
