1st extraction question

I'm doing a stb extract as we speak or read .lol. I have the mixture in a jar rolling it on floor with my foot .been doing this off and on for 4 hours now.how long should I do this before pulling the naptha that is a very milky white.thank you and sorry if this is redundant.

Ok did it using turkey baster and flavor injector syringe.evaping now til cloudy and then freeze precip. Should I delete this post since It was not needed or what?

Need help again:so the naptha I pulled had a yellow tint.put it in freezer .its been in for over 1 hour.it looks like a martini glass full of milk, I wouldn't be able to see a xtal in it to white ?

wait till all the crystals drop out. it will be cloudy for a while, then when all the crystals drop out, it will get clear again.

can take up to 24 hours depending on how much solvent u have.

How much solvent per how many grams of mimosa? If its too much solvent, then you will get only small amount of crystals precipitating.

Thank you for responses.8 hours later it still looks like milk.I swish it around and can see very small xtals on top edge.pulling out to evap some more before freezing again.

Leave your solvent at least 24 hours in the freezer. 36 hours is even better / favoured.

- How much naphtha did you use?
- How cold is your freezer?

112 grams bark.112ml naptha.freezer is very cold and empty.

Poured naptha off.what crystals there was slid down sides of glass and melted back into the goo left at bottom.I'm carefully removing the visible white xtals because I'm dying to try itout but what do I do with the goo.I'm not just asking without looking for answers but would love some help.thank you

Redissolve and try to freeze again. Also just moving it around/letting it airdry should harden it up slowly but redissolving/recrystallizing will be the best at this point I guess.

My method for pulling...
The best way I have found now for pulling the naphtha off of the mix, is with an eye dropper. I know it takes longer... 30ml takes about 3 minutes and I can get just about every bit of solvant without the brown mix coming up. I think the turkey baster is a waste if it is not clear glass. I have a metal stainless steel one that was just a waste of time. Sure I could get one nice pull. But mine dribbles back out while transferring and I noticed the brown mix just wants to go up, due to the suction. Eye dropper never fails me! Takes a steady hand (placed on the side of the jar), then have the dropper suck on the side where the liquid has that tension next to the glass. You will never suck up the mix by mistake. (someone else mentioned that method here too)

Also. Be VERY careful to not get any brown guck. Looks like you got some.
When pulling naphtha, be very diligent about getting only naphtha. You might have to clean yours with a re-X.
If done right first time, then there is no reason to re-X.
But I could be wrong! I am a beginner myself and still pulling my first batch of white spice.

Noticed I had "gook" again .I poured it all back in base again and went to walgreens and got eyedroppers.they work amazing.the turkey baster was pulling a lil "gook"but got none using eye dropper.thanks a million.I'm evaping the heck out of this one before putting in freezer.man its so yellow.

Timecat I noticed a microwave in that last pic. Props on the martini glass but you aren't trying to evap that solvent in the microwave are you?

Oh and I think the microwave will kill the DMT if heated to high. Just take your time. Might take a few days. But it is worth it when done right.
Another thing to think about, these are gods, spirits, entities and emotions you are playing with here. If you abuse them or maybe take shortcuts, you never know... Bad trips can happen.
Just from what I heard around here about respecting the spice. Take the time.. Have a good extraction... Thank the spice gods... Have a MASSIVE uplifting trip!!

The microwave in the photo is not being used.I only opened it for a backlight.
