Can we have a heart smiley when we type in <3 please? We should be able to express our love with a warm red glow...

Kinda lame how it was met with resistance on the other thread. Don't really see a good reason why we can't have a good ole love heart...

I wouldn't mind if typing ❤️ made a ♥, but I don't think I like the idea of <3 making the symbol. It's vaguely bothersome when things that you might actually type make an emoticon appear instead.

For example if I type (2008), it displays as (2008) in the post. Same sort of deal with parenthetical quotations, ("stuff") displays as ("stuff"). Not really a big deal, but enough of an annoyance that I'd prefer not to add another text string that can result in an accidental smiley.
