Migrated topic.
what people who put fluoride in water don't say is there is two kind of fluoride, calcium fluoride that appears naturally in nature and that is good for us and there is sodium fluoride that is a by-product of the aluminium industry (if I remember well...) that is VERY detrimental for our health.

Here is an article about that if you like:

Once again it seems that some waste from some kind of industry are being sold to us instead of being dumped, and of course we get issues from it... really familiar situation!!...

..er, fluoride is found in natural trace amounts in water in many parts of the world..shoot me down, but it does actually help strengthen teeth...

ps. it's the chlorine in water supplies that bothers me, personally..

^as posted above, that is not the same form of fluoride at all..and it occurs in such small ammounts in natural water you cant even compare it to tap water and toothpaste.

Ash, so far you have not provided any evidence/theories/mechanisms that supplementing with K2-MK4 would reduce calcium content of the pineal gland thus it's a unsupported theory and nothing else.

EDIT: Some more thoughts.

When this thread was first opened it a candidate for close/move. I asked to get it back so we could "bust the myth". As you see things didn't really went that way.

But let's go back a bit and look at the original thread

Breakdown:
1. Pineal gland (probably the most abused "it does this, it does that" body part)
2. (expensive) product
3. substance with a suspicious name (Activator X). New too.
4. fluoride/detox (Common with conspiracy theories)
5. No proposed idea of the mechanism
6. Purifying chakras (googling that gives me a headache)

This composition sounds wacky to me and the more or less exact formula was used for many scam products. I really believe that you were just trying to help but snakesoil salesman have destroyed the little of blind faith we had so now we search for proof.

From my point of view your initial post wasn't detailed enough for the Nexus level of discussion. It had a very "by the way guys" vibe to me. Again, I understand your intention was to help but if you really want to do that then go deep, especially with things that can't be quickly tested with a simple n=1.

Proposed "deep" path for this issue would be:
- What is calcification ?
- How does calcification occur ? Does it occur in the pineal ?
- Is it harmful ?
- Can it be reversed ?
- With what ? Which doses ?
- Animal, human trials ?

Is there a certain reference that you can't access ? Drop me a PM, I'll see what I can do. A medical matter you don't understand ? Try one of the member who comes from that field. You aren't sure if this is real ? Ask us in a thread, maybe there are more people who wish to explore this.

I hope you can see how this would differ from your original unbacked statement. Reaction would be different too.

As someone who occasionally likes to dive in the core of the issue, I know this takes a lot of time but that's help in it's purest form.

I don't claim to know everything. And I don't believe threads should only be made by experts of what they would like to have a conversation about. I feel like for making a thread in the nexus I have pressure put on me to proove this and that, but really I was looking to get a discussion going to find more information for myself and others that can lead to useful information that will help us all.

Ash, the pressure was on due to the statement part. For me your approach was more like making a fact and less about a discussion per se. A slighty twist in a "So guys what do you think. Can you K2 effect calcification of K2. I found this, this, this. Etc".
I think that on the internet it's important to be as exact as possibly since there is no chance for real-time adjustments of our presentation.

I hope I didn't give the "know it all" vibe because honestly I would have to put in A LOT of work if I was to follow the protocol I suggested for you.

A little advice for those wishing to preserve their pineal gland. Everyone in the US should demand that flouride be taken out their water supply!

No problem but I suggest you read my post about the approach to this issue because there is a lot of claims in that article and not much data.

I hear ya Shaolin but theres a reason the european union banned food preparation using flouridated water. It's bad for your body and mind.

Pasting the original research and the official EU statement could be a start for a good debate.

One of the many reasons why I'd love to own a distallation apparatus. I'd actually like at least two, one for water distallation, one for ethanol production to be used in bio-diesil and also spice production.
