In this thread, there were reports of miprocin (4-HO-MiPT) turning black when dissolved in PG (that's being used) or water.
Without any obvious signs during use, the liquid gradually turned into a black tar-like substance over the course of two/3 weeks. It also hardened slightly, indicating some kind of polymerization or similar reaction may be occurring.

Interestingly, the original samples stored in test tubes from the beginning of the experiment remain relatively clear. This suggests that something specific to the vaporizer possibly heat, the coil material, or another component has a significant influence on the degradation or shelf life of the liquid.
Speaking of alternative ROAs, subcutaneous injection works for both as well, but the water in the vial turns black within a week or so, as one would expect

I missed that, and yesterday was surprised to see my three month old (or so) vodka + miprocin hemifumarate 20mg/ml solution had turned ink black.

Due to the high alcohol content, I wasn't worried of it being mold or bacteria, so me and my girlfriend decided to consume it anyways. We had 20mg each, boosted with an additional 10mg 1.5h after the initial dose.

There definitely were effects, not subtle at all. But it was nothing like my 30mg experience. Visuals were almost none, and we both felt "halfway there" in an uncomfortable way. Bodily feelings were remarkably strong, though.

Due to my lack of experience with this compound, I'm not sure if it was a matter of set and setting, or if it had partially degraded into something inactive and thus the black color. The latter sounds more likely but, if that's the case, it's surprising that still enough miprocin remained to get the effects we got, as the liquid was not only like ink in appearance but in texture too.

I won't store miprocin in solution anymore, but this is very annoying as volumetric dosing is the most practical, and I never have too much of this substance around. 4-AcO-MiPT sounds like a very attractive alternative, however it seems to be rare nowadays.
