Worth a look, as I wasn't able to find this 2008 article in our archives.
The attached 48" of text goes off on all the tangents, and gets pretty freaky, but does sum up much of the modern take on the role of harmalas in the human body. The "reader comments" at the end may well have been written by one of us...
