SWIM has come across some 5MeO-DMT, from what seems to be a reputable supplier. SWIM says it is an off white to grayish color. It does not seem to be crystallized and has a few clumps in the bag that are easily broken up. SWIM states the smell is of plastic. Does this look familiar to anyone? And since it doesn't seem to be crystallized, if it is 5MeO-DMT, can it still be vaporized?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Yeah, I would have to assume the same.

Be safe and start very low. Hopefully you know this already since you decided to get this, but active dosages are in the single mg range for 5-meo. Since you are asking for positive ID it may help to be even safer and start with a super small dosage before working up to 5mg or more which can be where full blown 5-meo experiences can start for some people.

I had a batch of N,N once that came out looking kinda similar to that and similar to what you described. I dunno why sometimes they come out more crystal like, sometimes more powdery and sometimes just kinda slushy

Thank you for your feedback. I should have put this post under a different title. I really am not looking for a 100% ID, just some thoughts. I did some research an found that maybe this was HCl and not freebase. SWIM asked the distributor to clarify if it was HCl or freebase and received no response. So I asked SWIM to drop some of the product in water to see if it would dissolve. It did. Since it seems to be HCl SWIM would like to basify the product. SWIM would like to do this because the melting point of free base is considerably lower than the HCl. (according to the wiki the freebase melting point is 69-70C and HCl is 145-146C)

These are the steps SWIM has been able to piece together from different sources, although ratios and procedures have not been provided SWIM is modeling after the extraction teks.

I am not a chemist and any constructive criticism and corrections would be appreciated.
1) Dilute 1g of HCL in 100ml of water
2) Add .5g of Sodium Carbonate and stir.
3) Warm the solution.
4) Add 100ml of Naptha
5) Stir well.
6) Extract Naptha solution and put in a separate container. (to confirm all product has been removed I shall repeat this step 3x and put each pull in a diff container.
7) Freeze Naptha solution overnight.
8) Cross fingers and pray
9) Hopefully the freebase will precipitate and will have crystals in the morning.
