5meo extraction from wu zhu yu (evodia fruit)

hello folks,yesterday i went in to the local chinese herb shop to check out the price of wu zhu yu (evodia fruit).ive been doing a bit of reaserch about this herb and ive read that it contains only 5 meo dmt,thats a bummer as its really cheep,£5 for 200 grams.still ive never had a dream with this 5 meo,i know you have to use a lot less than nn dmt,and it has never really appealed to me but what the hell i want to give it a try.has anyone ever tryed an extraction with this herb,if so what type of extraction did you do,would it have to be defated and then do an extraction just like mimosa,or would an alcohol extraction suit this herb better,does it have to be basified.sorry if i sound all newbie but thers not mutch info out ther on this herb.ps the only extraction i found on this the guy said he got 80 mg from 200 gram herb i think,dont quote me on thet thow.what makes me think the guy is full of it was that he said he done 50 mg to test it,now ive naver done 5meo but i would think that would be far to high of a dose.anyone got any real info about this please.

Yeah man not a bummer at all At least for me, 5-meo-dmt doesn't offer all that much (not like dmt) but sprinkling a nice amount in a joint WHOOAAAAHHHH FANTASTIC !!! :D :D :D even if just for kicks it's fucking fantastic! and all this time i htought i needed a toad... :roll: i've never even heard of evodia, but sounds promising noman, you think 5-meo-dmt would behave differently to dmt in an extraction? i bet the a'b side of it would remain the same.. just possibly solvent choice would differ..? what makes you suggest toluene ?? why not stick with naptha?

At least that is what my friend is finding in his preliminary experiments with extracting cebil. Even better would be to make up a pint or so of chloroform, but that's a pain in the ass.

thanks for the reply guys,im gonna get a few hundred grams this week,the only thing is the solvent,toluene ive never seen anywhere so ill have to try an extraction with naptha.yes coschi ill try that with a joint,thats the only way i would ever use salvia now,i just dont like the stuff,but in a joint with weed its a different story,so maybe ill enjoy 5meo in the same way.
