I think that crystals formed by evaporation are the most beautiful.

Yes, and the secret is to alternate between fridge and freezer 4hrs/6hrs while gently swirling the Naphtha and tiny precipitates so they can all clump together into larger more managable clumps of crystals.

I have an old Russian microscope with some apochromatic lenses, as a kid I used it to photograph crystals in polarized light, very psychedelic looking.
DMT should look amazing and colorful in polarized light, reason enough to take up this old hobby again!
