69ron Mescaline Tek PLEASE HELP!!! D-lim being absorbed into cactus mixture

blueprint

Rising Star
Hey everyone.

Basically SWIM's having trouble pouring off the D-limonene from the initial cactus/calcium/water mixture.

SWIM followed 69ron's instructions to a T but SWIM is only able to get 200ml of 300ml of the D-lim out of the mixture. And thats after really working it with the french press.

Also SWIM thinks its important to note that the D-lim that SWIM is managing to press out is quite a bright green. Far from the gold with a hint of green that SWIM has seen before.

The only thing SWIM can think of is that the calcium used is of a different quality to those being used by the fine folks of this forum. SWIM had a similar problem in the past when using proper lab grade calcium in the past. Could it be that the lab grade stuff was more potent so less was needed and that this Turkish calcium is too weak so more is needed?

SWIM has added an extra 10gms of the calium into the D-lim, poured it back into the mixture and is going to let it sit overnight to see what happens.

Being from Australia SWIM is not able to acquire the common pickling lime suggested so had to order in food grade calcium hydroxide from Turkey.

Thats the only thing SWIM can think of.

After folling the instructions so meticulously SWIM is quite shattered and confused so any help/advice would be very very much appreciated.

Thanks guys - Peace

Ive never tried this tek but I remember reading that if the whole thing is too dry, it sucks more solvent, than if it was a bit more moist. Also I read that if you add some sodium carbonate, when it reacts with calcium hydroxide it forms lye, which helps with separation (be careful it will be more basic, wear safety equipment)

the rehydrated cacti powder should be almoast fluid but more goopy. your dlimo (check your supply for purity) should sit like oil on an ice cube and youll want to manually mix the pasty cactus through your solvent with a stir rod or something, then it easily settles and you collect your solvents and salt them.

if your solvent mixes with the basic cacti water goop id say your orange oil is the culprit, again make sure its as pure as you can find, it should be colorless/slight yellow at most.

id opt for lye instead of pickling lime because you need less bass and you arent going to be eating this product without cleaning the hcl in dry acetone anyway.

with 100 g of flesh ive had 7 g hcl with this style of extraction, it defintley works and works well

so one can make functional or pure sodium hydroxide with calcium hydroxide and sodium carbonate? wont there be some other byproduct? is that byproduct going to effect anything?

i ask this because sometimes lye goes out of stock for months or cant be found locally, thanks!
