Effects of a Hallucinogenic Agent in Totally Blind Subiects, Arch. Ophthal. 1963

Results: Thirteen of the 24 subjects reported visual alterations. (Table 4). Eleven subjects reported simple hallucinations, and 2 subjects reported complex hallucinations.

Such phenonena occurred only in blind subjects who reported prior visual activity.
