Acacia Confusa Extraction On The Go, Few Questions

Ok, i will update this as the extraction is happening.
So far...I have blended 50g of Acacia Confusa in a blender into small flakes (would take an eternity to blend into powder)
I have boiled tap water to make the water a bit more pure, then left it to cool in the freezer.
I measured 800ml of the cooled water and added into a glass jar.
I slowly added 4 table spoons of caustic soda (lye) to the water, my friends got my scales and i was unable to obtain them, my rough guess is that i added about 60g of lye to the water, i then stirred repeatedly and left for 5 minutes to dissolve.
I put the lye/water jar into a cold bath for 15 minutes to let the solution cool down a bit.
I then added the 50g of Acacia Confusa bark to the lye/water solution and stirred for 5 minutes. At this point the kettle is boiling to prepare a hot water bath for the jar. I am unable to shake the lye/water/bark solution hard in the jar because the lid can leak, so i am just stirring every 20 mins. The jar has been in the hot water bath for roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes now. The solution is an extremley dark purple (almost black) and is not thick or sludgy, its fairly thin, i took a teaspoon of the solution out and poured into a clear glass to test the color and it is a very nice purple almost pinkish color metallic looking.
At this point im going to make a hot water bath and add a glass of Ronsonol lighter fluid (Naptha) to the hot water bath for about 15 minutes to warm it up slighlty, i will be using 60ml of Naptha and add that to the lye/water/bark solution after its warmed up slightly.

my plan:

I will pour the lye/water/bark mix into a long thinner glass jar so seperation of the naptha will be easier.
I will pour 60 ml of naptha into the mix and allow 40 mins to seperate, i will collect this in an oven dish with a large surface area.
I will then pour another 60ml of fresh naptha into the mix for the second pull and wait 40 mins for it to separate. This is all my naptha used up now so i will do a bicarbonate soda wash(question below) to the 120ml of naptha.
I will then freeze the naptha for about 24 hours. and i will keep the lye/water/bark mix in a nice cool place to do 2 more pulls tomorrow with reused naptha.

A few questions:

I have bicarbonate soda, how much water and how much bicarbonate soda should i add to the 120ml of naptha?
And is it important to completley get the naptha from the water very quickly? how long would it take to separate.

By the way if you are adding all the pulls together, its possible the later pulls are not as saturated with dmt as the first, so maybe not all (or not most) of your dmt will crash out during freeze precip, maybe you should evaporate the naphtha a bit (like lets say till half) and put in the freezer, or at least be sure to reuse the naphtha after retrieving the crystals.

Ok there were loads of crystals at the bottom of my dish, but EVERY white crystal melted when exposed to the air, even after the dish was upside down in the freezer, but i do think this is because the naptha wasnt dropping off the bottom properly due to its design, so i took all the naptha out and scrapped all the yellow crystals which did not melt, theres roughly 70-80mg of yellow crystals, i evaporated them dry and dabbed a tiny bit on my tongue, it was like a burning plasticy sensation which numbed my tongue for about 20 mins. Im not going to recrystallize these, going to do a dose of a third of the weight.

There was about 4-5x as much white crystals as there was yellow, i emptied the npatha from the dish into a new jar and put the empty dish back into the freezer on its side, it seems the white crystals are forming again and the leftover naptha is dripping off now. I also put the jar with the naptha in the freezer to.

From this first extraction i have learned alot and have a much better understanding of the science behind how it all works, next time i will be better prepared with better equipment.

Im having trouble with a camera but i will post some pictures of the white crystals when i have "mastered" the process.

The white crystals wont stop melting when exposed to the air, i even froze a jar with just the melted DMT in it, and got a nice big silky white crystal, but after 10 minutes it starts to melt again, im not sure if this is a freezer problem but its doing my head in a bit.
I smoked the yellow crystals and half experienced what i getting into, but it was quite harsh and hard to keep in my lungs or inhale to much. Saw nice geometric patterns, diamonds colors etc for about 20 seconds, felt like i was inside of a sphere, until i got distracted by some white light and i opened my eyes and couldnt get back. I really need to get these purer crystals to solidify.

I suggest placing your jar upside down in the freezer for a couple hours and when you take it out, unscrew the lid keeping the jar upside-down. Then take a paper towel and wipe the inside lip of the jar so the last of the solvent doesn't drip back into your crystals. Take a fan and keep it over the jar for over an hour to make sure all your solvent has evaporated. The crystals hopefully won't melt or dissolve.

I just ground up a whole load of this plant in my coffee grinder.

It left a gummy residue on the top of the cover, so my intuition is telling me a defat is more than likely quite necassary to get good results from this material.

and no. I value my lungs.

But I could do a small extraction on the gum. Dissolve in actone, then add FASA maybe?

I'd bet on it being 95% plant oils though.

I'm reading that a simple recrystalization will stop the melting xtal problem.

Do we know what temp NMT melts at?
