this doesn't surprise me, but that's my point about acacia seeds, they are high protein, traditionally eaten as a staple food (unlike yopo) ..the extraction of phyllodes (which in some spp. can have over 1.2% dmt) has less tar issues than bark, usually no defat required.. (phyllodes are an extention of the bark)iv personally seen giraffe eating seeds of acacia spp
look at other plants like datura - where are most alkaloids found ? in the seeds - along with plenty other plants
the leaves have a load of other crap in them - in most cases the leaf is not the best thing to work with as defats are more often required.
