ACRB A-B tek HELP

after the mini a-b in the Earthwalker tek, the final pulls were placed into an evap dish but for some reason my naptha wasnt getting milky as it was fan drying so it led me to believe the dmt hadnt migrated from the dmt containing water to my naptha... not sure what could have happened ... everything might be fine and maybe the solution is just too saturated for it to crash out but im just worried something went wrong ..

Divining is something i (we?) am no able to do, so i (we?) need more details to guess what happened.

First thing first : are you sure your bark is legit ? Did you already extract magic from this batch ?

yes ive made magic with this bark before only difference is that i used hexane as a solvent last time

Nmt is only partially soluble in naptha, and can interfere with the dmt coming out. . Depending on how much naphtha you use, you might need to do 5-7 pulls to get everything out. When i work with acrb I use lots more solvent each pull than I would for mhrb because the nmt really interferes with the dmt solubility. And I make sure the acrb solution and the solvent are hot when I do my pulls to maximize the solubility.

I also suggest freeze precipitating instead of evaporating solvent

I did 5 50ml naptha pulls and then let it fan evap before i put it in the freezer where it currently is. I will remove it tmw after its been 24 hours and then report back. If theres no crystals im going to be dumbfounded

IME with ACRB I always do 50ml pull 8 time a day, totally need 20 pulls to get near 1% spice.
do a sodium carbonate wash on the pulls before mini AB always got the crystals.
or you can do a re-x with heptane. next time you can try straight to freeze no pre evap.

Thats the thing it wasnt getting milky when i blew on it or when the fan was blowing over it. Themilky acidic solution didnt seems to become more clear as more pulls were done either

What acidic solution? You mean the cleanup/mini A/B?

Have you added base to the acidic solution? You must turn DMT salt to base in order to pull it.

How much acrb is being extracted? Depending on the quantity, 5 pulls of 50ml could be too little....Also, is it powdered? From the same bag?

It does happen where the solution stops being cloudy when one goes to try to evaporate it. I can't explain why, but It has happened to me on numerous occasions.

Yes i added 200ml of water with 60g of lye to acidic solution before pulling. I was thinking that i added the lye water solution too early maybe because it was still really warm.

And yes i used powdered bark and vm &p naptha

Edit : i extracted from 100gs of ACRB

For 100 grams acrb i use about 200 ml of naptha per pull. I freeze precip and don't evaporate.

i would base it a bit more, throw the vessel in a heat bath, and also seperately warm the hell out of the nps your using before putting it in. i shake the hell out of em

Thats what i planned on doing if my freeze precip doesnt yeild xtals... I already added 200ml with 60g of lye to the 500ml acidic water before all this but if i was to go back how much lye shud i add to convert the dmt to a salt so it can be pulled?

Ok so a little update here.

It turned out to be a sucess when i removed it from the freezer, but im going to do more pulls.

Heres the result of the first 5 50ml pulls. Kinda bad quality

Yeah its nice and very potent. Just dissappointed on low yields

I just heat up everything. Vessel and naptha. And shake Vigorously. And do many pulls. I get a wine jug full of my pulls and then do the backsalg on the wine jug. Reverse pull it from the bottom.

ok thanks for the help. what exactly is backsalting supposed to do.

and i was wondering why some teks require you to use 50-60gs of lye when processing 100 grams of bark while other teks suggest using 1g:1g ratio of bark to lye.
