I'll go into the details of the brewing process after SWIM tries the brew.
But, in a couple of lines:
SWIM started with pre-powdered Caapi vines (1 lb) and brewed for 12-15 hours over the course of a 3 days. SWIM lost almost 3/4th while reducing as there were lots of tiny particulates that escaped my filter. It was a BIG BIG pain in the A. The cheese cloth was constantly clogged by of the tiny bits of powdered caapi.

Finally SWIM has a brew, which SWIM guesses is from from around 100 grams of caapi (guestimate as SWIM doesn't really know how much got spilt during the boiling process). But it's not very watery and clear and still looks and feels muddy with some powdered caapi still in it. SWIM tried very hard but couldn't get them filtered out.

SWIM is going to drink half of the brew anyways.

Please, pretty please, let me know if it is dangerous to drink the goo/caapi particles. It's also a little difficult to down it as it's more like a not-very-thick milkshake ans is also not very great tasting as it stick everywhere in the mouth and throat. But, if there is no real danger then no biggie, could be chased down with some of the leftover distilled water.

Thank you.

filtering with a cheese cloth is totally unecessary. I just stick the unreduced brew in the fridge for a day or so and decant it off..then strain once through a t-shirt..thats is all you need to do. The brew is fine to drink just filter it once. I dunno how you lost 3/4 of the brew?..did you pour it too fast?

No, SWIM got distracted while the caapi was boiling and it got spilt while boiling.

Will it be bad in any way (physical, mental) if SWIM drinks the muddy brew? Is there something in the vine fiber that shouldn't get filtered in and has potential harm to the body/mind? SWIM really wants to do it tonight.

well..is there chunks of caapi like floating around in it? I mean sure sediments in the brew yet to settle are fine, I wouldnt be drinking brews with chunks of caapi floating around though. I doubt it can harm you but it might be hard on the gut.

Thank you very much. SWIM drank about a third of the brew (around 30-40 grams I guess), half an hour ago. There were no chunks at all. Nothing that couldn't pass a cheese cloth and a t-shirt.
It was very smooth and creamy, a milkshake like consistency. Taste wise it wasn't bad at all. With some MAOI safe cream (if something like that exists) could even be delicious.
But, SWIM's concern is will it be toxic or nasty to the body. When you say it might be hard on the gut, do you mean purging wise or some stomach aliment?

Thanks again for responding to my concerns.

The more particles you leave behind, the rougher it is on the stomach meaning that it will make you more nauseous. I don't think you have much to worry about toxicity wise. I guess you've learned the hard way that you can't neglect your boiling brew. The more attention you put into your brew, the better off you'll be, and not just because it won't boil over. Also you should be mentally prepared for purging no matter how well you filtered. Always better to be prepared. If you get nauseous, don't fight it. Just go with the flow no matter what happens. I think one of the most important lessons I got out of all this stuff is that if you try and struggle and fight the flow of these gargantuans of power, you probably won't be a very happy camper.

Yeah SWIM learnt his lessons the hard way. The other lesson that he learnt that NEVER order powdered vine. That was the reason it boiled over (of course his mistake too). Because it wasn't clear like it should be it was forming really thick layers on the surface (like milk which is a colloid and not so much of a suspension like mud). It on the stove about rise and boil over with SWIM watching. It was on medium-low. Then, SWIM put it on a really low flame to take a break (it should have been fine, had the liquid been clearer). Then in a few minutes heard the hiss.
It sucks, but I gained experience (read mistake).

SWIM has gulped the last bit of what I guess was >50 grams (excluding the boiling over, lots of losses during filtration).

Many thanks to all of you for being here.

It usually means a hard purge, but I've heard at least one Nexian describe themselves as a "sludge-swilling maniac" (forgot who!). IME the extra sludge adds a fair bit of kick to the experience!

IMO, those tiny bits or chunks are just extra fiber. No real concern for toxicity, but like the others are saying, might be little hard on your digestive system.

No effects at all. What went wrong.

t=09:00PM - SWIM drinks half of the muddy brew (>25 g).
t=10:00PM - No effects yet. SWIM downs the rest of the brew.
t=11:30PM - Still no effects. SWIM is hungry (he hasn't eaten anything for past 27 hours since a vegetarian burrito loast night)
t=12:30AM - No effect yet. SWIM drank 5g of MHRB brewed for 4 hours.
t=01:00AM - Feeling a little different. Not sure if it's because he is tired and sleepy after a very long day. SWIM turns off all kinds of stimulus (tv, music, light) and lies down with eyes closed.
t=09:30AM - SWIM wakes up feeling great after a good night sleep realizing he fell asleep while trying to lie down. Dreams weren't too crazy either (as far as SWIM remembers).

What do you think went wrong. Oh, to give more data, SWIM had a few hits of MJ at 6PM and smoked 3-4 cigarettes that evening.

The good news is SWIM just received (checked the mailbox first thing in the morning) 500g of shredded yellow caapi. But this time SWIM doesn't want to brew all of it at the same time. SWIM wants to start brewing 100g right away and brew it for 5 hours (I know that's not enough, but SWIM will save the fiber and add it to the brew when he brews the rest 400g). Though a smaller brew time, 100g should be enough I guess. And, SWIM still has 5g of brewed MHRB from last night.

Is the plan good to go?

The plan apparently was kinda good to go. Starting another thread for report on that.
