Advice with a baster

Ok so swim has been using a baster to do pulls with. swim finds it is rather hard when it fomes down to that fine layer when almost all the NP solvent is gone, any one have any advise to make it easier to get the last little bit of NP layer off with a baster

Swim understands taht a sep funnel would be most desired but swim is not sure were to get one at this point

A pipette is great for getting the last bit of naptha.

When I did use a baster id just suck up as much as possible, even getting in some of the mimosa soup along the way.
Then just decant the naptha off the little bit of soup thats settled at the bottom of the collection jar and carry on with the tek.

yep, just what gammagore says
pull some of the muck with it, then decant 2 or 3 times. Used a glass eye dropper

Swim decided to do what gammagore said however muck/naptha was placed in a graduated cylinder and then separated using the baster. This made the surface area smaller making it alot easier to get at the naptha

a very simple 5ml eyedropper.

I use it for EVERYTHING, even transferring 200ml of naphtha from my jars. It's that much more precise, and even though it takes me like 5 minutes longer, i never spill a single drop. And if i suck some of the nasty stuff up, i can drop it out of the bottom again, in a controlled fashion.
