Age of Mimosa Hostilis

Hi,
I have about an ounce of mimosa hostilis sitting in my closet. I bought it about a year ago. I tried to extract some dimitri, failed, and stored the powder in my closet. I haven't gotten the motivation to make some dimitri because of school, family stuff, etc...until NOW!! I am wondering if age is an issue when it comes to the bark powder? Can I still extract dimitri even though the powder is a year old? Thanks! I have a notion that it is ok, knowing that the tree is much older than a year....but I want to make sure.

It's still fine, you just might have a higher concentration of DMT N-Oxide, which can be converted into DMT anyway.

69ron gave a great write up on how to convert it back to your freebase, and the only chemical that's obscure is the elemental zinc, which is actually pretty cheap.
