Is it my imagination, or are these on the rise?
Especially from our newer members with fewer posts, I don't know should these be allowed
given the nature of the site and the hobby?

The "big fish" should be aware enough not to visit a place like this from a home pc. It's the "little fish" that could get unlucky. If something unfortunate should happen, like an electrical fire or act of god, and the police should discover something silly in one's home, the last thing you'd want is for the investigation into this "dangerous drug production facility" to turn up posts with your face on them talking about extractions.

Big fish? I dont understand... big DMT fish? Dmt isnt sold like a drug. Its a sacrament. A divine molecule not some narcotic to be peddled by 'big fish'

I dont think you will find any 'big fish' here.

So anyway like it was said befor it really dosent matter what face you put on your avatar if you were to be busted your IP matched with your posts and anything you may be caught with in your home is enought to incriminate. I really dont find the spice to be a sacrament, ive seen it on here befor called the crack of psychedelics and my friends who i do it around agree with that comment. Its more like a visual aid or eye candy, yes you can gain knowledge but with substances like aya, mushies and mescaline out there it is by no means a sacramental drug in its extracted form. and IMO were all technicly big fish, we all have the capability and know how for large scale. The Monk dosent though because for him its more of an art to extract and smoke the stuff. Imagine buying a .3g bag of white crystals your told to smoke for around 60 bucks you get home load it up burn the shit outta it and are left with no expierence. Dont know about you but id be pissed.

 WTF???? Are you sure you haven't been puffin a bit too much that non-psychedelic crack? 😉 Talk about non-sequiturs...

Namaste :)

I sense a lot of fear in this thread! And even more so: fear of the fear itself.

In my introduction essay, I already posted much of my personal information. And as soon as I get my first official title in Psychology, I will add my real name + title at my signature, as well as my e-mail and correspondence address + mobile number which I will be using for work only. The only reason that I am waiting for an 'official' title is because it will turn me, in the eyes of 'the society', from an 'ordinary Psychology student who does drugs' into a scientist who explores the working of the brain/mind.

But in my own view, I already consider myself being one. This is exactly what I will be doing, as a Psychologist, for my entire physical life on earth. All of my family, friends, other students and Professors at Leiden University know (or will know as soon as they ask :p) that I am doing psychedelics for scientific purposes. I write a Journey report (I dislike the words 'trip report') about ALL of my journeys. I don't 'do DMT', I study DMT. Yes, I am open-minded, but this doesn't make me less of a scientist. I get very good grades at my university (my average in 2009-2010 was 8.3 out of 10) and they will improve even further, I promise ;) So, as soon as I get my title (in 2 years max), I will come completely out of the closet at Internet. I stress again, that in real life I am already fully and completely out of the closet.

As for police/legal prosecution? I am not afraid. At all. As I said, I will add all of my contact information + real name directly to my signature, so any police officer would have no problem finding me :) In the Netherlands, I am risking only a small fine (under 250 euro) for those small, user-dose quantities of DMT that I have or will ever have (I am not a dealer or something :p). Not to mention, that I will bring my case to the judge and the media, I have some great arguments to defend myself and my scientific approach. So, if any pesky Dutch police officer (or other official) are reading my posts - see you at court ;)

I am in no way trying to get anybody to reveal their real-life info, because I don’t know you or your life-situation. I am simply writing up my own humble opinion at this subject, regarding my own life only ;)

Light and Love to Everyone.

Sound like you're bragging. You say you're brave and not afraid but from the looks of it you just risk losing under 250 euros. Others in far less liberal countries will face serious trouble, even prison sentences, losing their right to raise their children, making it impossible for them to get a proper job, not to mention a social stigma that will just make their life very hard even if they manage to escape prison.

Of course as you say you simply state your humble opinion but that ain't just right. Most of the people would love to shed the mantle of anonymity and then you come like the morning erection and tell us how little you have to lose? I am extremely amazed.

I prefer some anonymity given the legal climate concerning psychoactive substances in the USA. There are a number of people here who I would love to sit down with face to face. I have had the good fortune of doing this once so far, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I wish that this society did not place such a stigma legally and even morally on our preference to push the limits of our psyches especially those derived directly from the plants that grow all over the planet.

Although I see nothing wrong with people posting their own pictures on here, I won't do it myself. To each his own. I do not what to make it easier to become the 'DMT poster boy' in the social pages of the local news or worse. With various precautions one can come here and not have his true IP address logged and therefore mask to some extent his identity. The lack of photo makes reasonable doubt a little easier to sell to a jury if it came to that I would think.

It's really sad that in my part of the world, the core of my spirituality and the medicine that gave me a second chance at life could potentially land ten years in prison.

Ten years in prison to lift the crushing weight of anxiety just enough to hold a job and fall asleep at night? Ten years to remember how to smile and make peace with my family?

It's quite sad. All I can do is pray that this will eventually change--the proof of the healing, transformative power of these medicines speaks for itself--and, until then, I will not shake any boats, not draw too much attention to myself, and let my lifestyle, reputation and character be the best defense for the kind of behaviors these substances inspire. I pray that will always keep me safe.

It's maddening, too, when the only people you can share the core aspect of your lifestyle with exist only behind a computer screen. There is something so intimate about looking into another person's eyes.

It's important to keep a balance between paranoia and complacence. Some members here have not been so lucky. In the grand scheme, though, we are all so infinitely blessed to work with these substances. Every crumb of DMT that slips through your fingers is a blessing. Every leaf of chacruna you boil, every peeling of Mimosa bark you get to touch is a miracle. Don't be frightened by the forces that seek to control, simply be aware that they exist, and ultimately, be respectful to ALL life. :)

In any case, I would love to meet all of you. :) <3

Can't wait to get to South America and meet the plants, too! :d

He states clearly that he's not encouraging anyone to reveal their identity. That he doesn't know everyones situation and this is only regarding his own life. Very clear and never says he's brave, just not afraid of legal prosecution?

I don't get what you see wrong with what AstraLex has said in this post?
