All Natural Tek - Vinegar/Lime/Limonene & FASW/Sodium Carb

I won't be doing this myself until much much later this year, i have more than enough spice to tide me over & i also find using Naphtha to be fine as it totally evaporates & leaves no residue, so this will be more of an experiment in the future for me, hopefully malaclypse reports back though...

Swim let me know that he has finally begun the process. Would you believe he never got his original order of D-limonene from Green Terpene way back from October . I guess he found an alternate vendor and got a trial size so that he could begin while that get's settled.

I'll update with how it went, but apparently he thinks it is going good so far. He has some FASW saturated solution with a tiny bit of limo left on top (couldn't get it all separated easily) and so is putting that in the freezer to freeze the FASW so he can pour the limo off. It looked like things were happening after shaking the limo/fasw mix together and looking in the bottom layer. It turned a little yellow and had some reactions going on.

I will make sure to update at some point with his results.

The good news--as has been mentioned--is that this is nothing new and as it just so happens, reportedly works just fine. Though, the amounts are fairly arbitrary to SWIM, as he mixes his materials in general ratios, sometimes by weight, sometimes by eyeballing it.

I wonder what happens if one freezes and thaws (or keeps at near-freeze temp) FASW with dmt. Would be cool if dmt fumarate would precipitate, and then one wouldnt even have to evap the water. This would save some more energy and time.

If you check the thread for Armor_fati's tech you will see that Freezing the FASW/Limo mix is his preferred method, however he just hasn't updated the wiki yet. From what I was reading, it did not sound like the DMT crashes out of the FASW and still needs to be evaporated. Regardless it makes separating the FASW from the Limo very easy as you can just pour off the Limo since it doesn't freeze and then use baster or whatever to pick up anything in the corners.

SWIM and a few others on the board have been freezing FASW, vinegar, carbonated water and the like for quite a while now as a means of separating from limonene without a separatory device. Excess fumaric acid will precipitate to a degree and remain precipitated when thawed, but the water still contains the salts and must be evaporated.

SWIM happily sent along a few pictures. SWIM will go over all the details later, but he is very pleased with his results for a first extraction. Goes to show that some patience and a good amount of research can pay off.

This is the Fumarate he got after evaping. Still needs to do a quick clean up with some water. SWIM used 50g of MHRB for his first go round.

Thanks! But just for clarification that first weight was for all the combined fumarate before doing a wash. SWIM combined the limo with some FASW 3 times and then combined all of that into one place which was then evaporated. Fumarate isn't the same as pure freebase, Armor_fati says his final fumarate after a purification step is ~76% freebase. So that weight above still has some fumaric acid that will get decanted away after putting it all into some fresh water to do a quick purification on the salted product. There will for sure be some loss there. And in addition like I said that will then be ~76% free base. Regardless SWIM is happy with it . SWIM said there was for sure some loss as well as some limo was spilled the first time he tried to pour it off on the first pull and a few other minor mishaps so he thinks that whatever the yield he gets this time will for sure get better with practice. The fumarate in the pic was slightly yellow but SWIM said it looked pretty neat with all the tiny crystals.

When I get a chance I promise to update with his process. This may be a while as I have some things coming up that will keep me from being online for a bit. However, as mentioned all this information already exists right here on the Nexus. This was just a combination on several techs with slight tweaks based on lots of research on the wiki and in the extraction threads themselves to suit SWIM's needs. Lets just call it the Q21_fati_BLAB+, actually since it is small Q21_fati_SLAB+ .
