Anadenanthera - how much DMT-like?

Migrated topic.

I've tried smoking yopo and cebil seeds few times. I had one quite successful trip after one of those. I've loaded my water-pipe with lots of grounded seeds and I was smoking as many as possible. After that I had to lie down and I had quite strong CEVs and mild OEVs. Hallucinations were geometric and were very dynamic. I've got some important insights about my life but nothing profound. I know that I was barely touching the true potency of those seeds.

Is DMT important in those seeds or was it mainly bufotenine?

You are lucky to have gone that far smoking unprocessed seeds !! Seems you are reactive to bufo =)
Cebil seeds contains mainly bufotenin. If you want to expand a bit bufotenin experience, I suggest you to try one of the teks available in the wiki or in the bufotenin sub-forum.
This way you would have some fairly clean bufotenin.

Smoking through a bong wasn't difficult but smell was terrible. Not taste, just smell in my room.

If it was a bufotenine trip then I'm amazed. Bufotenine isn't psychoactive in most studies. Only those seeds produce psychedelic effects. That's why I believe that other compounds are responsible for its action.

No, SWIM has had isolated freebase bufotenine and it produces those effects exactly.

You might want to read some of Jonathan Ott's work with pure bufotenine. He found it very visual as well, and so did all of his test subjects.

Freebase bufotenine degrades pretty fast into an inactive toxic black substance. Black degraded bufotenine is probably what those tests used where it showed no hallucinogenic effects. It's my understanding that black bufotenine is bufotenine carbonate. Bufotenine, like mescaline, should form bufotenine carbonate after sitting around for a while.
