Anonymous outbound links

Due to a suggestion of d*l*b in this topic all the outbound links of the DMT-Nexus are now anonymous.

The good thing is I created my own link anonymizer site for this: anoniem.org (anoniem means anonymous in dutch).
This anonymizer site was created because we never know if we can trust sites like anonym.to but we can with this one.

Of course this new trickery *might* cause some problems. If you have any problems with this link redirecting then please let me know.

I'm decent with computers, but hardcore internet stuff isn't my thing.

Can somebody please explain this in layman terms?

When you follow a link data about you and the referring site is passed to the site you go to.

Links are now sent via another domain (anoniem.org) to their destination in order to strip them of the data that references the referring domain (dmt-nexus.me).

When the admin of a site linked to on the Nexus views their access logs they won't see dmt-nexus.me referenced.

It makes sense. Definantly a good way to keep things safer.
